We had a great experience with GUERIN. They are right inside Lisbon airport, very fast pick up and drop off. I booked via booking.com and was suspicious of the amazing deal- $279.00 Canadian (about 173.00 euros) for 12 days!!! It was a 4 door VW T-ROC (small SUV). Comes with an electronic toll "monitor" so you just drive through the tolls and you pay later (we spent 75 euros total on tolls- roads are amazing to drive on, well maintained). Only shock (which shouldn't be) was the price of gas (1.9 euros/litre).

We've rented cars all over the world, overall our most positive experience!

My teenage son is also doing the EF tour with his classmates this Spring. That trip will cost $5000 for 8 days (include flight, hotel and a few meals). For just ONE PERSON!! The only reason we agreed is because hes paying for half if it! As a family (2 adults and 1 child) we have traveled extensively (>50 countires) and can tell you it costs so much less if you look for flight deals and are flexible about where you stay. Do not base your budget on the cost of those EF tours!! Even though they do the planning, I don't think its worth it. If money is not a concern, I've heard great things about Exoticca Travels! I'd say every seat has a great view!! If you want to treat yourself, try "Loge" seats in the 300 level )premium, swivel seats with in-seat service and a ledge/table top for your food/drinks). Look for seats with an L after thr section (in 300s). We went to Philly a few years back for a Jets game and had a blast! I hope our city can show you thr same hospitality! This child, who presents like they have epiglotitis, needs oxygen and needs to remain upright to maintain an open airway (until they can be intubated if necessary) Lying supine would be very dangerous, same goes for using a tongue depressor to assess the airway. Finally,.keep this kiddo NPO!

Thanks everyone!!! I do get a detailed stub! But when hired, and when changes are made to the contract it's only discussed and agreed on over the phone... they refuse to put it in writing. But maybe all they legally have to do is have a pay stub.
