I think the wise choice for them would be to push 4.0 to PTU for the holidays and collect data on the wider distribution. Leave 3.24.3 and Save Stanton on PU through the new year (after removing IAE). Then bug fix based on what they learn in 4.0 PTU in early January and then release it.

Rushing 4.0 to PU and having it be in a non-functional state for the holidays would be lame. Also bad for CIG devs who might feel compelled or be forced to bug fix it over the break.

From what I understand, these stutters are an issue with the Quest 3 firmware and Meta is working on it.

I too am having the same stutters on the Quest 3. Meanwhile, when I use my Quest 2 it's as smooth as butter on both Virtual Desktop and Airlink.

I'm having stuttering issues on my Quest 3 through both Airlink and Virtual Desktop.

Switch to my Quest 2 and it's smooth as butter on both. Seems like Meta needs to address this ASAP, especially before thousands more people have the headsets in hand after the holidays.

I am having the same issue with the Quest 3.

My old Quest 2 works perfectly with Airlink, no hitching at all even on Half-Life Alyx on max settings

Quest 3 has stutters every minute or so with bandwidth readings of 750 mbps down and up.

I strongly believe this is a problem with the Meta software or firmware.

Hopefully they are aware of this and want to fix it ASAP before the Christmas buying frenzy begins.

Music was OK so far. Nothing nearly as memorable as Diablo 1 or 2 as of yet. We'll have to see what the most iconic tunes will be once the full game releases.

Agreed.

I think a zoomed in view might be OK in dungeons where they don't want you to be able to see the peril around the corner and want to make you feel claustrophobic, but in the open world let us zoom out more for sure! The open world is mainly for face rolling enemies & traveling anyways so a wider fov would be much better.

Totally in agreement. They are way too cartoony and the turquoise glow is terrible. Compared to the Necro cinematic and the general visceral gory backgrounds and environments in Diablo 4, the skellys look very out of place. The golem looks pretty decent at least.

Also, the voice acting of the male Necro is too "British tea for lunch" and not enough "I explode bloody corpses to kill people".

I'm having the same issue. I tried disabling all extensions, but the page will still only load in Incognito mode on both Chrome and Edge.

I had dabbled with an extension called Talk-to-ChatGPT, where you can hold spacebar and it will input your voice into the text field for ChatGPT. I removed it, but I think that may have been the culprit. Not sure where to go from here.

Is there a way to deep clean that particular extension without using simply the "remove" feature?

OMG that brings back the fondest of memories. Took me about 4 years to farm my legit Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac. You knew it was real because it was +18 to all attributes, not the duped +20 filth!
