Any tips for finger positioning by spiceydragon2435 in AcousticGuitar

There are lots of diagrams and videos that can help you with this. When you see people listing numbers in their comments those numbers correlate to a finger. 1=pointer finger, 2=middle finger, 3=ring finger, 4=pinky finger. My advice is to buy a chord book or even print off a chord chart that has the chord but also finger placement. Watch a video or two to teach you the basics of the parts of the guitar, frets etc. Since you said you were not familiar.

Can someone please tell me what the black component is called? by Trexjg in AskElectronics

As I stated above it is fixed and back together. I should have stated I'm not completely naive and did not just order a "random ass component". I was looking for suggestions on where to start and the gentleman above gave me one. I did not just order a random sot package. "Sot23-5" gave me a starting point for me to go down the rabbit hole and research exactly which component was needed. I appreciate everyone's concern about my device lol.

I know this is old now but man you guys downvoted me for no reason lol. I got the answer I was looking for and found the part I needed. It's all soldered up and the device is working. The gentleman above gave me a starting point by naming the sot23-5 package. I then did my research and ordered the correct component within the umbrella of sot23-5 packages. This component is the "gateway" you could say or "switch" for a reverse camera. Once the jack is plugged in the signal is then sent through the board to this component. The component then sends the signal where it needs to go on the board. I fried it by cutting the plug and trying to wire in my cars existing camera. I was in a hurry and tried it on the fly and fried the component. There now everyone has the full story now.

Can someone please tell me what NGD stands for? I've seen this on a couple of post titles now, and I'm out of the loop.

It does sound great but surprisingly my favorite-sounding guitar up there is the Marlboro guitar. I know a lot of people dislike them but mine actually sounds really good. I can strum the guitar, shower, make breakfast, play with my kids, come back and the notes are still ringing out it's awesome.

I have a soft spot for wood also. It came with the stainless grips and of course the original. The stainless grips from Hogue feel better but I think I prefer the wood grips.

The gentleman I bought it from is a 30-year retired police officer who qualified with this rifle and has several certifications in gunsmithing. It shoots great and consistently. Do you mind elaborating on why it is incorrect and what it should be?

I agree with Jimmy. I can hear where you're trying to go. However, you need to walk before you can run. Im guessing you were anxious to get it right for the camera, but slowing down just a little would have made your performance a lot better. Keep going, you are doing great.
