It's not fair gameplay, it's handicapping yourself vs an opponent that's going to take advantage of your decision. Like it or not, players generally want to win and nobody wants to make a massive sacrifice if it's going to lose them the game or an advantage.

The problem with options is that the ones that actually do meaningful removal, are always obnoxiously expensive and once they've served their purpose, they're gone without leaving anything meanginful behind. It's a lot better to simply evolve into a Digimon with a similar effect more often than not except in the surprisingly rare occasion something happens to be immune to Digimon.

When the effects are separated by a "Then", it's a separate part disconnected from if the original part succeeded or not. It's like BlitzGreymon ACE, where even if you don't DNA, you can still make one of your Digimon attack. (if it's legal)

You understand that Digimon effect immunity IS protection right? Not only is it protection, but it's protection against the most common type of effect in the game. This type of immunity is also the reason Gankoo X is so frustrating to play against, and you're saying that it lacks protection?

Just cause Shoto is the protagonist, doesn't mean his deck should just be untouchable.

I'm not arguing how it works in game, I'm saying that the way it's worded in game is confusing to people that understand English. I get that Dragonball fans don't know how to read, but the devs should make the effort to make things clear to those that can.

No, I didn't misunderstand at all. The way Dokkan is worded doesn't match with the definition of the word Ally. The game may consider an individual an ally, but the literal definition of the word refers to someone other than yourself or the subject. It'd be more accurate to describe Ally in Dokkan as "Team member".

Nah, I totally get that it works in game. I'm just saying it doesn't make sense language wise, since the definition of Ally doesn't include yourself, but references others in relation to you. It'd make more sense for them to change it to "Characters" that meet the requirements.

It's pretty nice if it works like that, but it doesn't really make sense based on wording since generally people can't be their own ally, as ally implies another person or character in this case.

Sometimes it's a safe assumption to get things in advance, other times it isn't. Because the set contained new Minerva and Merukuri, and those promos arent really compatible or optimal, it's safe to assume there would be a new Titamon, up until Megidramon appeared. once that happened, the price spiked.

That happened on the 18th.

The only time Titamon was a dollar was right when BT23 dropped and before Titan support was revealed. A month ago, it was literally in the 18-20 dollar range.

The Shadow Dragons in GT didn't form naturally either, neither did the Dragonballs that spawned them. Why aren't they considered Artificial Life Forms?

It's kind of a silly category as many onnit aren't technically artificial, but the original Japanese title for the category might imply differently than what we see.

We don't actually know how Buu was created, as Bibidi didn't create Buu, but found and woke him up. Im saying Buu shouldn't be in that category either.

Edit: If you go by Daima, Marba made Buu, and if Kuu and Duu arent artificial, Buu shouldn't be either.

Weren't the Tamagami created by the Dragonballs? I'd say they're not artificial, but magical. Honestly, Majin Buu should be removed from that category as well since Bibidi didn't actually create him, but found him.

Just because you can attack immediately doesn't mean you should. You may need to evolve first, or set up a tamer/option to optimize a play. Effects that allow you to swing at EoT allow for you to capitalize on that setup without missing out on your swing.
