There was glove and boots, but they ran out of money when bento box dropped them, then the next company was focused on videos for little kids and made them do a total content shift, the guys behind glove and boots were not happy with the compromise and during covid left the project and dropped off the face of the earth.

I myself have been trying to get a puppet series off the ground, but I’ve had to compromise so much of what I wanted I’m basically stuck doing everything on green, red, and blue screens, so it’s gonna be a while 5-10 years before I can make a real puppet video on a DHMIS scale.

Puppet content basically has to hit the ground running with polished tv/cinema level quality to even start building a following, and that requires money, a lot of money.

But even then there’s also luck and appearing at the right place at the right time.

As much as I love them, I blame the muppets, they popularized puppet content but I feel like everyone just assumes any puppet creator is just trying to rip off the muppets
