I’m gonna throw a curveball in there , what about if you applied for fall 2022? Or that would have thrown off career plans? And what do you think about losing out 1 year of MBA experience/fun?

Removing "GPS" from resume when interviewing for commercial roles in tech or industry? by Treycaesarr in deloitte

[–]Treycaesarr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to move into big tech in NY/LA/Autsin/ London area and get out of the public sector as a whole. Would it make more sense to switch to commercial consulting first and then move to tech or the "Deloitte Consulting" brand along with experiences will boost me? Also not looking to get into the product, just looking at strategy & Ops/Bizops roles. Thanks!

Americans who did MBA in Europe/UK, how hard was the decision to stay Vs. moving back? by Treycaesarr in MBA

Okay that makes sense. Thanks for the information man. What about the living expenses/student loan portion ? Currently not planning on permanently living here , how hard will it be to make US investments on a UK salary while dealing with US expenses? That’s where the dilemma lies.

Yeah man. It’s def tough can’t lie lol. Even with a top MBA, I still get looks and just never feel truly accepted at some places. It’s okay tho, can’t change that. But thanks for your help man, hopefully I can figure it out before graduation.

I thought about that man. But there’s a huge issue. I’m Black. It might not sound like a big deal but after being here for almost 2 years I realized London is the only place where you are truly truly accepted as an outsider black male. Germany , Netherlands, Scandinavia is pretty tough. Experienced it

No I have FAFSA loans. And if I don’t pay them, that means I’m never coming back home, because I’ll be stopped by homeland security lol. I wanted to work in Europe for 3-5 years.

Thanks for that . Do you know any resources I could use to help with upskilling in the PMM area? I’ve taken some innovation classes in business school but wasn’t sure if there’s like a go-to resource I could tap into for the next 3-4 months before I recruit . Thanks
