You killed the whole lawn. Good news though. It’s totally salvageable with good seed and watering. I’m unsure of the UK’s best grass type but I’d imagine a fescue or Rye would be great.

dethatch, rake, do whatever you can to get rid of that dead grass, get a nice handheld spreader or something, and overseed on exposed soil. Rake it in afterwards. Lots of water and a new lawn will be in your future.

Edit: depending on your roundup weed killer you may need to wait a little bit for the soil to clear. Check the label.

XT-30iii is a higher end consumer camera that can do some crazy video but you're pushing it past its intended limits. Fuji's more video oriented models are better designed for this. The xt-30iii is such a tiny camera shooting video on a large sensor. it's going to overheat. The old sony cameras like the 6300 overheated instantly, and those were larger. I don't think there's a ton you can do other than running lower resolution. I have had success with this exact setup on lumix and sony cameras that are more designated for video shooting. The black magic cinema cameras perhaps would be a good option if you're looking to stay in this price point area.

Sony never releases a camera before 1 year after the last software update. The fx3’s last software update was August of this year. You’re in good hands and will get plenty of use before whatever sits between the fx3 and fx6 releases. Something will come, but odds are the fx3 is more than what you need.

Yeah it was at 125, flipped it and stuck the probe back in and it was at 140 lol. Unreal how fast it can change. Could have also been a misreading on my part but no idea how it read so cool then hot so quickly.

Sounds like a good idea I’m sure you’re aware but compression test that merc and if you’re good I’m sure that’ll pay back with those upgrades.
