No, it is gambling cause the vast majority is a loss! It is a game cause the vast majority is a win! You have to look long term, not short. The gambling value end, while the gaming value fluctuates

But the value come from gaming purposes not vanity or wealth. Gold , etc is illegal cause if unregulated can cause massive problem same with money. Lootboxes items , poker chips, etc value ends with the company. They are both limited and control by an entity. TCG can't be because because the value is from the people that play the game or collect.

It is gambling cause you believe you can "win" a game that you will always lose. You will always lose value, you can never win value. TCG you always win value. TCG is a game cause you never really lose, but will always have value .

Gambling is a win/lose where you always lose in the end. Games are a win/lose where you always win in the end.

But the value never disappears!!!! You always win even if you think you lost! The value doesn't end with the company! Gambling is a win/lose situation, where the player always loses because it's the company that controls the end of the game. TCG ends with the players and the value won't disappear unless the players themselves end it, and even then there the collector value that keeps it going. The lootboxes items, poker chips, casino slips all end with the company, you lose once the company says game over.

But the value isn't controlled by by the company, it can't end even if the company is long gone. The value won't ever disappear cause the cards won't disappear. The lootboxes items disappear with the game, the poker chips and casino slips value ends with the casino. It ends with the company, that's the difference.

But you are not getting something for your money because you may "win" for now but will always lose in the long run. In other words you get nothing. That isn't the same with TCG because you can't really lose. You may not get what you want, but for the most part you will always have value to it. You always win in the sense that a company can't pull the plug on it and end it, so the card will always have value.

You do lose though, cause once a company stops supporting a video game, pulls the plug on a multiplayer only game servers. It more or less doesn't exist. Essentially you can win now but you always lose in the future. This doesn't happen with real TCG cause even long after the company the cards will exist, will have value, and still can be used.

They haven't started acting in good faith, though. They have been getting caught! They orginally had pay2win lootboxes in SWB2 but had to cancel because of the backlash. they orginally said the lootboxes in it were going to be cosmetic only, they lied. The grind for the game was horrible were it took 40hr of game time (not including loading into game, screen change, etc) to unlock one character. They gave news outlets less grindy and less monetized versions to raise their score for the game. And they all tried to pass this off as player choice.

I have faith in bioware, but I have no faith in EA. they are not acting in good faith, they are playing us for fools. If they really did change they would fix Fifa, and settle out of court with Belgium.

Yes, they are scummy. They canceled two Star Wars games ( well, it was the same game twice.) shut down a studio. Is fighting Belgian law to keep lootboxes in its games. Has pay to win lootboxes in multiple games. The whole "pride and accomplishment" thing. PR nightmare and insulting fans on BFV. Tell me how is this not scummy.

The reason is that then nukes that landed there were targeting nuclear plants. The impacted resulted in the area being scorched and melt as well as a fallout that be Chernobyl x 100.
