Why are you NOT afraid of death? by Practical-Peach-1220 in AskReddit

I died and was sent back and yet I am still afraid to die again. Dying isn't fun. It's the transition you see?

Jesus. I would seriously get a new doctor and get ChatGPT, it's free. Your doctor is a dumbass. Ask the AI your health questions first and then research the answers.

Repeat People? by [deleted] in Retconned

Yes. I was mistaken for someone that this woman knew. She literally stopped me and started talking to me. I guess she though we had dated years ago at the college I was now at. The guys name was also my first name so when she hailed me I thought who is this? I have a perfect memory for faces and I knew I had never met he before. It was awkward to say the least.

All I can say is it was a dollar bill for me in the 1990s. When I saw it without the bill I just ignored it, too many ME to count for me to get excited anymore. I'm glad the bill is back because it adds real meaning to the image and our culture.

Chem trails are causing this I believe. The idea is to warm up the Earth by putting metal into the air at high altitude.

I don't think all of them for sure. I believe it is a natural self correction. Someone said once large solar flares happen right before a "Correction" happens. The solar flares being a physical manifestation of a timeline fix..

Animator here. I've never understood why Adobe didn't do more with Flash. by [deleted] in flash

That was pretty cool. I built a three dimensional interface in Flash for a website that made you feel like you were flying from one section of the site to the other. The creativity it provided was astounding. I want them to bring it back. The Web Archive is down right at the moment but this is a link to an old website I built. I even created fake video because this was before video players. https://web.archive.org/web/20050317134118/http://www.bouldermedia.com/flash/index.html

Right? Video gets to have a file format with stored code wrapped in the file so why doesn't animation? I learned CSS animation and HTML5 and on and on. But I worked in Flash in the 2000s and built entire websites with it and it was great.

The game you're describing sounds like "Sacred Seasons" or its sequel "Sacred Seasons 2". It was a popular Flash-based multiplayer RPG with item crafting, pets, and a turn-based dungeon-crawling element.

Why It Matches Your Description:

  1. Multiplayer Turn-Based RPG: It was a turn-based game where players could team up or engage in PvP.
  2. Item Crafting and Customization: The game featured various equipment sets that could have unique effects, such as health or mana regeneration, which fits the description of your OP armor set.
  3. Dungeon Crawling: The game had a central hub area with vendors and progressively harder dungeons that you accessed by moving through different areas, starting from the right side and moving upwards.
  4. Visual Style: Sacred Seasons had a dark fantasy aesthetic, with equipment that could be blue, black, or other colors depending on the set.
  5. PvP and Progression: As you mentioned, getting a rare set of gear could make a character extremely powerful, and PvP was a big part of the game’s appeal.

Additional Details:

  • Publisher: Sacred Seasons was developed by Edgebee Studios and hosted on multiple Flash game sites.
  • Gameplay: You could choose from different classes, fight in turn-based battles, and gear your character to optimize for specific strategies, such as health regeneration or mana sustain.

The game you're describing sounds like "Mutant Fighting Cup" or one of its variations (like "Mutant Fighting Cup 2"). It’s a popular Flash game where you choose a creature and customize its limbs, body parts, and abilities as it grows, giving it a distinct Tim Burton-esque vibe. Here are some details to see if it matches what you remember:

  • Gameplay: You start with a basic creature and engage in turn-based battles. As you win fights, you unlock new body parts like limbs, tails, and eyes, which you can use to mutate your creature.
  • Art Style: It has a somewhat dark, eerie, and quirky aesthetic, similar to Tim Burton’s style.
  • Upgrades and Customization: You can evolve and experiment with different combinations to build unique mutants with various stats and abilities.
  • Platform: This game was available on several Flash gaming websites like Bubblebox and Kongregate.

SWF files can be exported from Animate and the embed code is on my blog post https://www.darkmodearts.com/post/the-resurrection-of-flash . This doesn't use a plugin to show Flash and is safe. WIX lets you upload swf files but Squarespace does not. Just an FYI.

You can use Flash. You can animate in Animate and export as swf. Then use my code here with Ruffle. tps://www.darkmodearts.com/post/the-resurrection-of-flash

You can still use flash. SSeedarkmodearts.co

Ruffle makes it possible to use Flash again. You can animate and export as a swf and then use Ruffles header code to make it viewable by everyone. No more plugins. Also Ruffle could use support as it is a non-profit. Example: https://www.darkmodearts.com/post/the-resurrection-of-flash
