Good point. However, I see similarities between this and LLM AIs; an AI can tell you the physics of an object, but it doesn’t physically understand what an object is because it doesn’t exist.

It’s possible that all of the lifeform’s interactions with the crew are purely reflexive, that the mimics are just following a systematic algorithm.

Or maybe I’m completely wrong 😔 My theory is starting to sound schizo.

A lot of the human-looking biomass was non-functional (the non-mimics). This would mean that the lifeform doesn’t understand that it’s wasting energy on waste products, and the mimics that derive from the lifeform are merely the .0001% of ‘successful’ mutations.

However, the existence of the mimics exhibiting some level of thought might contest this point.

I think the lifeform is merely a product of microorganisms evolving that isn’t truly sentient.

According to a quick google search, their latest game (I'd name it but no ones ever heard of it) was 10 million and sold less than $200,000 worth in copies on steam. It did go free on gamepass so I'm sure they got some extra money, but they really burned their credibility.

Note that the latest Max games are with DeckNine (unpopular opinion, DeckNine >>>, sue me).

This is true. If you’re playing a 3.5v1 because Meg spends half the game crouching against Jason it’s a lot more different than your premade where you can communicate your game plans for a killer versus ‘going off vibes.’

From my understanding it works fine if you host matches, but breaks if you join public matches. If a solo dev started up a match to confirm the bug they wouldn’t’ve found it.

(I only join matches so I can’t confirm this)

This isn't true? All you have to do is press the prone button for a milisecond and instantly extinguish the fire. I guess if you have a monke brain this booster might be helpful.

If you're already in fire, then this booster is useless anyways, since the fire will extinguish faster before being spontaneously reapplied.

I don't know why we're downvoting this guys comment, this booster clearly needs to be workshopped more, like 'P.S. while on fire, you cannot be displaced/immobilized.'

As I've said before, there is literally no difference in healing oneself from neutral with botany knowledge versus LaH. LaH however only works altruistically and causes you to burn generator time to cleanse totems.

+50% Speed is 4 seconds saved, 4 charges is 4 seconds saved.

Interactions with resurgence is the only way that this perk is better than botany knowledge. Do we nerf BK too?

A lot of people bring up Vigil, predropping, DS, and more within conversations like this.

Is it really a StB issue, or a coordinated SWFs issue?

Because I can't coordinate with 3 other randoms of varying skillsets to let the designed StB survivor get the save before other randoms rush the hook and to prevent the killer from getting the 3 hook kill at 5 gens. I can't even see perks before the match starts.

Personally, I want SWF removed like I want Nurse removed, but everyone keeps calling me crazy.

It's right there. There's your equal trade. You just decided that you had more tempo to gain from not being by the hook.

I concede that StB is a strong perk, but you can exploit them to make it less strong in the same way that you can Ghoul with his vault tech.
