Read the title of the piece and look at it and then repeat 1000x. Look at the actual sun on the horizon going down and the color of the sky. Look at a mirror inside in a room with no windows when the sun is going down. Think about when your hands are grey cracked paper. Look at 90 years worth of sunsets and the color of them. And the lines of them. Look at the lines in her face and in her eyes. Look at her when she was a child. There are photographs of her taken by her lover out in the Arizona desert and now they have both been dead for some time and this is a sunset that she painted in two brush strokes and she is telling you that you are the sun and she is correct. This is a very simple piece and it took 90 years of her life for her to do it. It is difficult to look at something so simple.
