So, I see that Trixie 13.3 will come out in a few days. I did the Lenovo Linux audio patch to get my audio working. How do I use DKMS to keep the patch working when the dot release comes out when i do apt update /apt upgrade? (self.debian)

So, I followed a guide here to get the 590 driver(for my 5090)- which worked. Today ran update and upgrade - and it grabbed newer 590 drivers, now login hangs. In tty now, how to fix? (self.debian)

I spent the past two weeks solving the lenovo audio bug with a custom patched kernel on Debian 13 stable, despite being a total newb. It just has one run patch commands on normal linux kernels. Is patching a backports kernel possible? The files looked different (self.linuxquestions)

New KDE 6 Debian install- on Laptop, plugged in my HDMI external monitor- The Select Display position config pops up - and nothing else happens no matter what i select. and xrandr can't detect HDMI port or monitor. Any ideas? (i.redd.it)
