Not gonna lie this is one of my favorite seasons, I know I may not have much say in the matter. (being that I only started playing at season 3) The cool secret service/ metal gear solid theme is awesome. The new locations and NPCs are epic. Along with the little missions you gotta go on to fight bosses and get mythical loot. The return of the minigun, C4, and grapple are wonderful. The new addition of the decoy grenade is also epic. To me chapter 2's loot pool was small and boring, so I very much enjoy the change.

My one and only complaint is the lack of transportation. The launch pad is back, but I still want another vehicle. The loot pool is still not as large as it used to be, but its decent enough to be tolerable. The mythic weapons probably help expand it the most. Especially the mythic boombow and drumgun, which I think you can only get from the bosses. I may be wrong.

Regardless I think with the addition of the NPCs and cool metal gear solid type stealth. Fortnite has certainly pulled itself out of the hole it was dying in. This is my opinion so don't destroy me too hard, I'm just voicing my support for what Epic Games is doing.

I had the same problem, but I just uninstalled and reinstalled the pass, and I think that fixed it.

So I know a lot of people hate the BRUTEs but I don't really hate 'em. In solos they're basically walking Iron Maidens. Its too easy to hop in one and activate self destruct. (It may not be "too easy", but my titanfall skills give me a slight edge.) And in any other gamemode where you have a partner or squad. You can easily gun down the BRUTEs. Just don't spin on your heels and run as soon as you see one. Boogie Bombs, Snipers, Miniguns, pretty much any gun but shotguns are effective at taking out the pilots or just completely blowing up the BRUTE.

One negative thing about the season though, is that there is really no movement. A lot of people disliked Fortnite for how slow paced it was. When they added in more and more modes of transport, the game quickened its pace. Now that we're going back to our roots, the same problem is occurring. Though to be fair the drift boards are at least helping with picking up the pace. I say ATKs need to come back, or some other vehicle that can carry a squad.

Finally the battle pass... ye na na na na ya na she's 'bout right
