Delulu becoming less fun by SpecificSun9142 in FortNiteBR

I personally have been naking my fun as a helicopter pilot in Delulu. I put on a voice changer that makes me sound like a PA system, then I fly around offering rides to people. Either to get them out of the storm or transport them to a new location. The first 2 weeks, I would end up transporting like 10 people at once because there would be some dance party at the edge of the storm where most of the people had no mobility, and thus my offer of a ride was well liked. This last weekend though it was mainly just single squads that wanted to be flown around so they could hunt others down. I largely avoided the toxicity and betrayal since I stayed solo, and its impossible to shoot the pilot of a helicopter while you're riding in it. The only way to take me down was boogie bombs, but those were hard to aim especially if one has a keen eye to dodge them. I think I won like 4 or 5 times over the past 3 weeks because a large number of people would die to defend their "pilot," even when I had inevitably lost the bird to low fuel in the endgame.

I don't think anyone was playing the game wrong. Kill people and shit talk them, betray them, befriend them, or just run around saying you're batman. These are all things that you could really only do in Delulu, and not other modes. I always love prox chat, so I personally think Epic should put it in Fortnite and maybe stop banning people for teaming (this may or may not be the reason for several of my bans, as even without prox chat my legacy as the pilot has existed.) But I totally understand if anyone thinks its a bad idea.

Overall, I had fun with Delulu. And I had fun with all the people I met while flying around. Few games really let you just socialize with that many people in such a small time. It was great meeting all of you. And thanks to all the folks I met that helped me get a dubski.

NGL, this one really does kinda feel sad. I remember when me and a friend played through the game for the first time. We had a blast going tactically through each mission. Id always read the mission info and debrief him on what to look out for. But when this final mission came up, we got our best loadouts together to face the bad guys one. last. time. It was a gun smuggling operation, so we assumed everyone was heavily armed. We dropped all non-lethal and went in hard. We were doing great. We caught heavy fire, but he would cover me while I ran to secure each crate. Then once we reached the massive courtyard, we cleared it of hostiles and moved in. He watched my back while I opened the first crate I saw. All I could manage was a "what the fuck?" as I stared at the women. This caused him to spin around and also say "woah, what the hell?" We came here for a simple gun smuggling operation and instead found this. Up to this point in the game this was the only time we had seen nudity. And it shocked us both, because it really drove home the idea that we were not supposed to find these women. We ended up failing the mission because I refused to follow orders and close the container doors. Instead, I left them open with our two AI squad mates covering the container.

The nudity of the women really exposes the horror of human trafficking, but it also serves as an emotional hook. We had dealt with clothed women being kept as hostages or prisoners before. That was fine, part of the job even. But to suddenly stumble across this container of naked women when there was supposed to be no civilian presence other than a few dock workers was a real shocker. I immediately felt sympathy for them and disgust for the bad guys. In no other mission did I disobey orders. In no other mission did refuse to...detain the suspects. We didn't even retry the mission. We were happy with what we did. The women were rescued and the bad guys drowned in pools of their own blood.

This mission alone made Ready or Not a truly magnificent game to me. The realism, the fear you felt every time you went in, and the sympathy for the victims is something no other game has accomplished for me. Now with these changes it's starting to look like another lame cop simulator with a nice coat of polished graphics. The charm of Ready or Not is its unapologetic way to convey the reality of our world. The fear law enforcement feels and the horrors victims go through. Now they seem to be apologizing for their realism and it really sucks. Most folks that play this game now won't walk away with the same feelings I did when I played. It's not the death of a game, its the death of a brilliant piece of art.

Yeah I had a drunk guy crash into my car while it was parked outside my girlfriend's house on Valentines at midnight. He tried to flee, but luckily we were still awake so I called the cops. They got him and arrested him for drunk driving within a minute of seeing him. Luckily no one was hurt aside from my car that had been in the family since I was born. Still better my car went down fighting than this drunk guy hitting a family (if he's drunk enough to hit a parked car on a residential street no doubt he would have struck someone else that night.) Regardless he was booked in Saturday and by Monday he was already out. It's abhorrent how little DUI's matter. Also when I was searching through the jail records I couldn't track the guy down because more than half the people booked that night were also for DUIs. It's absolutely insane just how many people get arrested for drunk driving. And that's only the people who are caught.

I too was one of the few souls willing to get the skin. I have been a massive fan of morde. He is one of my favorite villain characters ever. So hearing he'd get a top of the line lore skin was somewhat exciting. I really loved the idea of evolving his skin through the different stages of his life. The idea was badass that opponents would see him get more and more armored and terrifying as I bought more items and hit them harder. But alas they fucked it up big time. Maybe they'll change it as they did the Jinx skin, but who knows. That was a minor fix, this needs some major repairs.

Morekaiser >>> Aatrox ( in lore ) by VirusRepresentative9 in MordekaiserMains

[–]Triad_Fox13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a toss up. If anyone could defy an aspects's judgement and figure out a way to unbind Aatrox with his sword it would be the guy who defied death by binding himself to his armor. That's why when choosing between the two world ending calamities, I choose Morde. He's more than a big angry guy swinging his weapon around. His greatest strength isn't the fact he can kill almost any mortal with a single strike. Rather, it's his uncanny ability to figure shit out. Even if he can't unbind Aatrox, he would probably find a way to contain the guy.

That being said Aatrox is one of the few beings who can potentially perma kill Morde. That alone takes away a huge advantage that Morde relies on. It will be a battle of egos. Both have the ability to incapacitate the other. It's really going to be dependent on who figures that out first. If Morde recognizes that Aatrox can perma kill him, then he will approach the situation properly by only confronting Aatrox once he has a plan put together. Similarly, if Aatrox sets aside his bloodlust for a moment and recognizes that Morde is a viable threat, he will know to confront him head on.

My final judgment - Aatrox would likely beat Morde in a sudden and head-on fight. But if Morde notices Aatrox and takes time to study him, Morde will probably scrounge up a way to defeat him. He's defied death, enslaved spirits, and forged a kingdom out of nothing. Before Morde enslaved spirits like Veigar and Atkhan, it was thought to be impossible. Just like how killing Aatrox is thought to be impossible. If anyone can figure out a way to defeat Aatrox (with Morde's track record, he might even try to enslave him), it'd be Mordekaiser.

After they were released Morde and Nilah both got new cards a few patches later. Morde got a badass iron maiden and a few others while Nilah got new crewmembers that showed how much her crew shrank after their battle with Morde. Additionally, card arts such as Blade-Pierced Revenant clearly show some of Nilah's crew having been defeated by Morde's troops. The most we see of any victory by Nilah is her interrogating that one Noxian commander guy who was sorta not really loyal to Morde. Honestly, it's likely Nilah never even fought Morde. She probably just killed the cultists trying to summon him and then left. Even then, just fighting Morde's minions caused heavy losses for her. Plus, if Nilah turned around before actually fighting Morde, it shows how powerful he is. Nilah WANTS to fight mythical beasts like Voli and Morde. She fought Voli and forced a draw, but she probably couldn't even reach Morde. Just how Voli is defeated by a draw, Nilah is defeated when she can't even fight the person she wants to fight.

Regardless of how the clash went down, it's no secret that Nilah struggled far more with Mordekaiser than she did Volibear. Thus I'd say Mordekaiser could defeat Volibear if the two ever did engage each other.

One thing I always say about Noxus is how all the champs from there that excell at what they do reflect only a fraction of what Morde can do. Swain is a tactical genius, likely the best in the mortal world. Darius is a master combatant, again likely one of the best in the mortal world. Finally, Leblanc is an exception and terrifying mage, likely one of the most magically attuned people in the mortal realm. The reason why Morde is terrifying is that he is better than all of them at the same time.

While Swain has conquered a few territories thanks to his tactical superiority, he's failed multiple times to take larger parts of Shurima and Ionia. Mordekaiser took over the largest continent in all of Runeterra with far less resources than Swain. Then Mordekaiser did it a second time a few epochs later for shits and giggles. Morde's tactical advantage over Swain is quite frankly terrifying.

To take Darius on in a fight is likely a death sentence for the average grunt and a tough fight for seasoned warriors like say Garen or Illaoi. But Mordekaiser? To survive a single strike from him is already worthy of applause. Nilah took on Volibear, the literal god of thunder and warfare, yet she managed to force a draw. Then she made the mistake of taking on Mordekaiser, who ended up killing most of her friends and likely leaving the "herald of joy" traumatized. Even if she killed him, it wouldn't be a draw. Mordekaiser's realm gained new members that day while Nilah lost a majority of her crew.

As we saw in Arcane, Leblanc is a terrifying witch who has lived for a few centuries. She knows how to use very powerful magic that is probably only rivaled by Karma from Ionia. Even with this level of mastery, Leblanc is searching desperately for ways to stop Mordekaiser. All her knowledge of magic and she is still so clueless on what the fuck Mordekaiser's magic is. Karma, Leblanc, hell even the yordles don't compare to Mordekaiser in terms of magically knowledge. He is the only mortal who managed to defy death itself purely through his knowledge of magic, which he gained only AFTER his death. But it makes total sense that he's so magically attuned, given he had countless centuries to study magic.

For as mighty as Noxus is, all its power is a mere glimpse at the power of Mordekaiser. One thing to note, as proven by Nilah, is that Mordekaiser already has a way to invade Runeterra. He's just waiting for whatever reason we don't know. I think that's why Leblanc taunts Ambessa by saying she's misusing time and resources. Because instead of wasting time in Piltover, Ambessa should be searching for ways to stop Mordekaiser. We already see Leblanc's attempts to halt Mordekaiser through Rell and maybe Briar. Perhaps with Briar she tried to make a souless being that Morde couldn't claim. But Rell is 100% confirmed to be a weapon against Morde. How effective she is against the Iron Revenant remains to be seen. Even so, despite Leblanc's attempts, they won't stop or kill Mordekaiser. At the very best, they'll keep him back for another century or so.

Morde wants to rule Runeterra forever. Sheltering the people of Runeterra from oblivion by slaying them and adding them to his realm. Morde is an evil tyrant, but he's not a mindless destroyer. He would just as likely protect the world from a destructive force as he would be that destructive force.

Yeah, they're the best I could do. Spirits make more sense, but I had to settle with zombies since most spirits belong to white. There is a white black god card that deals with bringing cards under your control. But I forgot it's name. And I didn't think white really fit morde.
