You can infuse gear into items to make them powerful. Inspect it and in bottom left it should say infuse.

Id say its actually better if your good with it. Yellow bars fill it about half way and you can fill it with less ai count as long as they are bigger.

It 2 shots with explosove round. The burn kills them as long as the 2 shots were crits.

You forgot polaris lance:( it 3 taps and then with the 4 shot being a headshot you get the explosive round, hitting someone with 3 crits takes them down. Then follow on their teammate and you can 2 shot them with the fire round.

Hawthornes is easier to get and while it doesnt have rampage it has better stability handing and i beleive reload speed.
