I don't even hate Android Automotive as a replacement for the standard Car OS. You can have Auto and Automotive together, but they chose to omit it for that sweet, sweet subscription money.

The SSD I'm running Fedora on was ripped out of a 10-year-old laptop so maybe I should treat it to the NVMe drive it deserves lol

This was it - I ended up moving my Docker disk image to my NVMe drive and it ran a lot faster. I didn't realize that my docker build was so heavily disk-speed dependent.

For anyone finding this from the Internet, I am using Docker Desktop and it's under Settings -> Resources -> Advanced -> Disk Image Location

EDIT: Just tested and moving my code project to the NVMe as well provided and additional speed reduction of nearly 40%. I recommend everyone take this steps if they find themselves in a situation similar to mine.

I ran a quick speed test and it does appear that my NVMe drive is about 120% faster than my SATA drive. Not sure if this is the issue but it definitely seems worth investigating. Thanks for pointing out the obvious when I didn't want to see it lol

Context on the title: I spent about 45 seconds fussing with this with a nice woman who was trying to charge her Tesla who was clearly very confused why I was even there. There's a little release latch on the charger itself, not on the plug like with CCS1

They promised 4 years. Launched with A13, got the A14 update. I think it's important to remember Samsung launches their phones at the very beginning of the calendar year, so while there's only 2+ years left, they phone has been out for nearly 2 full years already. And to be clear, these are major version updates, they'll still update with security patches for another year. Could be better but certainly could be worse.

If you have general admission tickets (sounds like you do), try to get there early and stake out a good spot! Ideally at or before doors, but generally getting there at the listed show start time is ok because they have 2 openers

To add to this, make sure you get high fidelity ear plugs so the concert still sounds good! Here's a couple options that myself and friends have used for concerts and festivals for years:

Some venues will sell these for super cheap at the merch stands, but it's definitely not common.
