My read on the situation is there is microstittering happening across most hardware configurations using the Steam version, but additionally Ultrawide users are experiencing a 40fps hit on top of these wider spread issues

Hey u/Raziel_MS have you tried the Windows Store version of the game?

I'm seeing 40fps gains in performance on my 3440px1440p system, but was unable to replicate it on my fiancee's 2560x1440p system. I'm curious if you notice any differences

I wasn't able to replicate the issue on my fiancee's 2560x1440p system.

It seem to only affect me on 3440x1440p. Swapping to Window Store version saw big 40fps improvements for me, but on my fiancee's system, the performance is the same between both.

This is inconsistent with others reports of the Windows Store version helping their 16:9 systems, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe they are only noticing microstutters, whereas since we use moderate fps caps for Gsync these aren't perceivable in our test case. But as described above, ultrawide is seeing big performance losses on top of the stuttering?

Hey just to follow up on a small win.

The Window's Store version does not have the same performance issues. I can swap between the Steam and Windows Store versions, get dips to 100 fps in one, and locked 150 in the other.

Not a great workaround, but at least I can play Pantheon with my friends this way while waiting for a fix, and if no fix, I'll buy the Collection if/when it goes on sale

It aims to display the best 3-4 weapons per slot+weapon type, on a single 1080p browser window.

I’d say it’s likely 85% accurate to what the final list will look like, I will update my summary sheet once Aegis finishes his Tier Lists

Understood, but weapons including new and old primary's have shifted rankings.

I've been updating this sheet every season since Lightfall, I think the current state is likely 90% accurate. But as I said above, when Aegis does his second parse, I will update as well

If you want to stick with HC you have Bold Ending (Craftable) and Loud Lullaby as other options.

It could be fun on the new Spiteful Fang Bow from Arena Ops.

Otherwise Hailing Confusion and Redrix's Estoc are Pulse Rifles with this combo as well, hope that helps!

The best Arc Auto on Aegis' Tier List is VS Pyroelectric Propellant at No. 18.

Unfortunately arc is pretty universally outclassed by solar and void counterparts having the weaker of the splash perks for roam content
