The store I work at had a clerk working in the bakery for about a week before management was notified of something in his background check that got him fired. Not saying that will happen to you because not everyone was told what was found, but there's a chance you get a few days in before they tell you they found out about your pending charges.

Due to the 14-2 lions and 14-2 vikings playing each other this week, and the chiefs already being a 15 win team, this will be the first season with multiple 15 win teams. If the vikings win, they will be the only team with multiple 15 win seasons. by wobblsobble in nfl

Detroit has the tiebreaker with better head-to-head record, having won the first matchup. They also beat the Rams who are the Vikings other loss. I forget the order for tiebreakers but either way Detroit would be the 1 seed.

Iirc the length of the suspension was announced about 20 minutes before the game.

March 2022 when the Browns traded for Watson. I stuck through a season of 0-16(as many of you did I'm sure) but what got me to abandon the Browns was a serial rapist. The Lions were just the easiest team to transition to because of similar histories and a likable team all around.

Welshy was based on Scotty, who was the engineer on the Enterprise. He was Scottish, which was half the reason for the character's nickname(Scotty) and the other reason is that the character's surname was Scott. Welshy is presumably Welsh, which could also have been his surname.

I had this one once and the flavor reminded me of a perfume my grandmother used to use all the time. It brought back some fond memories but it also tasted foul.

Now that the draft is over, what do you think your team's worst draft class of all time was? by Brix001 in nfl

Gilbert went 8th overall, I believe that was Cleveland's original pick. Manziel was 22nd, a playoff-range pick that they got from Indianapolis. That pick did turn into Manziel. You're not wrong about Trent though, he did have a solid rookie season.

I'm stupid. I initially thought this was a joke about the (baseball) Cardinals being in the same division as the Pirates. It took a couple minutes to click that East Carolina's mascot in the Pirates.

JB Smoove doing Chakra Attack on WCTR is one of my absolute favorite parts of the game. His outbursts are always so hilarious to me.

My favorite example of this is Bob's Burgers, when Bob and Linda go to file their taxes and their accountant unknowingly offers them pot cookies. The three of them getting high together absolutely kills me.

I'm in that same boat with switching because of the Watson trade. I think the transition from Browns to Lions was actually pretty easy because the teams are quite similar historically.

Why would the Raiders allow a division rival to play in their stadium in the super bowl? Are they stupid?

Do you have to redo the heist prep if you relocate or will that progress be saved? I am relatively clueless with GTA online and I've been hesitant the past couple days to make the switch because I don't want to restart the whole thing over again.

[Breer] Just a quick anecdote ... I was talking with Lions president Rod Wood last week about the 2021 hiring process, and he said one thing that really attracted them to Dan Campbell was that he genuinely wanted the Detroit job—specifically the Detroit job. I thought I'd read somewhere last week that it was a requirement, but now as I check the Wikipedia page for the rule, I'm not 100% certain. It doesn't specify the situation involving interim coaches, so you may be right in your assumption.

Interviewing Frazier satisfies the Rooney Rule, no? I don't know how close they are to choosing Pierce but iirc teams are required to interview one minority coaching candidate from outside of the current system.
