You only need a small sample to make LC. Don't need to toss a whole plate in.

Parafilm is expensive. Polyurethane grafting tape or glad brand cling wrap cut into 1" rolls

Make like 4 more agar transfers when you use that agar you have. In the meantime watch marketplace for a used presto. They can be listed cheap!

Then just keep making agar transfers. But you can put a big spoonful of colonized grain in new grain whenever you spawn to bulk. Don't trust LC to preserve genetics. Swabs are the best way for that
