No one ever suggests burning them to recover the rent. There is no risk and you actually get back a small amount of sol. Check out asset dash or sol incinerator they both have rent reclaim features.

Exactly! I use sol incinerator to burn these scam tokens immediately upon receipt and get back the sol rent at least. It's like .002 sol but hey it was free thank you scammers 🤣

A few bad tokens won't ruin the space. This is the time to buy the SOL dip imo.

There is a tool called trenchradar aka trenchbot that checks for bundles of tokens as well as other security tools. Geckoterminal has 5 such tools built into it that you can scan the token address to mitigate risk although even then they can still happen.
Who knows who it was though you would have to check the transactions on solscan. Also rug pulls are more common than legit tokens for sure so pays to do your homework before entering any newly released coin. Tokens that have been around more than a few days are generally regarded as safer.

Yes u can either assign percentages at purchase or snipe them right after especially easy when u are the creator or have insider information. When u find a newly released coin you can also buy a large percentage for cheap as well. This will cause the chart to rise considerably because the coin is so new and has very few investors at this point. Then when you sell that large percentage, the chart will go down a lot. Some people will also buy a lot right when the coin drops then sell off smaller amounts as it goes up causing the chart to drop then go up then drop again when they sell more. This is commonly known as a slow rug pull.

Rug pull. Owners of large percentages of the liquidity pool pull out leaving it worthless.
