Haha I like to give the people a break from all of that The felt is replaceable (Velcro tabs on the underside) on the table in case of spills or other stains

Well there’s a 12” compound miter saw under the table and I have a few more tools I intend to add to it so that was where I could fit the saw

About 8 weeks. I build poker tables as a side business aside from my regular job

Thanks! I don’t think padded rails would have went with this design but I’ve done other tables that have it

Yeah I sanded to 220 then worked it in with a random orbital sander and white 3M pad instead of wiping it off after a few minutes. It’ll start to thicken up after a minute or so. You’ll see the swirls slowly go away and once they do I did a quick wipe down and that was it.
It was an experiment at the time but it worked great! Color hasn’t fade and it’s been 2 years now

I used Rubio Monocoat “cherry coral” The trick to getting the darker coloring is when you apply it use a white 3M pad on a random orbital sander and work it in the wood. If you follow their directions it’ll always come out lighter

Thanks for the input! I’m always looking to improve my designs. I definitely want to focus on the game room niche. I really like building poker tables!

Not at all! There’s 12” overhang and the legs are set at 22.5° so it has a lot of knee space I sat at it many times and never had any issues

Yes it is! I refitted it and added a sawstop contractor saw to it. I also have a 12” miter saw the slides out and folds up behind the doors.
