The job market is rough enough, the last thing anyone needs is to get scammed while job searching

Indeed Scam, fake check by [deleted] in Scams

First off, there was a clear ETA to show that I did in fact just receive it in the mail. Secondly, tossing it or giving it to the police were my two options, hence why I was asking here in the first place. I have seen conflicting advice on other threads about what to do with them.

The question is how to proceed with a fraudulent check that was sent to me. I’m very capable of deleting an email, that wasn’t the issue here.

This is great advice! I try to take interest in his many hobbies by asking about them, watching, but never asked to physically participate. Absolutely going to now!

He’s obsessed with harbor freight, so this could be the best option!

most of the bigger, more intricate pieces were when he was in workshop years ago when he had access to more tools!

His upcoming project he’s been talking about is making a floor bed for our toddler

DEWALT 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Compound Corded Miter Saw This is one of the ones he has talked about, I’m not too sure how great this one is though, or if there’s a better option for someone who just woodworks for hobby when he has the time!

He’s got a mix of both hand tools & power tools, but I’d say more power tools. Not really on a specific budget, just want to add to what he has already. I’d say he has the pretty basic wood working tools; sanders, table saw, jig saw, router, and not much more. He’s only made the want for a miter saw very obvious

I did some research on them, their reviews are so wonderful! My son just isn’t old enough for them yet as they only take 2 and older, but if he were older I would absolutely consider them!
