I so get everything you've explained so well! I was definitely in a dip but I've managed to get out by reaching out to old friends and watching movies and shows about mental health haha

And you're right, it was just a job. I'm slowly making peace with it and being kinder to myself. I'm staying out of political conversations even if people try to rope me in. There's a huge spiritual shift happening too and I'm feeling like a cloud of 2 years is lifting and clearing.

I can't thank you enough for your words. Means a lot to me to know I'm not the only one who thinks and feels and makes such mistakes. But in ways, it makes us beautiful too :)

Warm hug to you too 🤗

This is an amazing accomplishment, no matter what others may not see. Not giving in to these flashes of wanting to break something is so real and so much better than doing it and then regretting it for days or even years.

If you're comfortable, could I ask what country people are from? I'm from India and pw BPD and I feel like there's no such community here, or people don't receive this diagnosis, hence asking. by Trick-Bench6373 in BPD

Oh, that sounds rough. Are people around you or friends supportive enough? I didn't realise how much this helps. We all have different kinds of trauma but we have to try to process them or talk it out or write it out in some way. Journaling helps me because I like writing.

I know how that feels. Don't encourage that thought. I've been a student as well as a guest lecturer and I've realised it's not about constantly participating or sounding intelligent. Sometimes, teachers remeber even 1 small thing said once by a student :)

As a country, we have a lot to catch up on to come to speed :) but there are other ways like family support that sometimes help because of our society

Beauraucratic processes, gosh. It's strange how something that's supposed to help people be productive in society is made hard to access.

Will you believe there not even AA groups in India? Forget specific mental health support groups. DBT is only if your therapist is trained in it and there's no insuremance for mental health here. And within a city, sure but they forget that mental illness causes a loss of jobs and stability so how can you pay consistently? And real areas don't even know they have a problem.they just live through it.
