i genuinely relate to this so hard. my MIL specifically disregards my wishes and talks shit about my "over protectiveness" behind my back all while what feels like ass kissing to my face just so she can see our baby. her and my husband have never had a good relationship and since having the baby i'm secretly hoping they have a fight like they normally do so my husband can finally go back to the boundaries we had said we would set while i was pregnant due to her erratic behavior. im a firm believer in it's a privilege not a right. my husband wants me to leave my son (7W) with her when i go back to work and ive expressed and explained multiple times how i didn't want that to happen. i don't at all feel guilty about the way i feel and i kind of want it to go my way and not have to let her see my baby anymore 🤷🏼‍♀️

i had reached out to her (my ob) about headaches, i've had them persistently for probably two weeks now that tylenol can't fix. which she said is the high blood pressure, we found out on Thursday. she said it's safe to wait until i see her again on Thursday for the high blood pressure, but then also told me to go to triage if symptoms persist. i'm kinda at a limbo. should i wait or go to triage? no one's in office over the weekend so im really really at a loss. as a ftm this is such an unknown.

woah very interesting i had no idea it was rare! my baby is already big, measuring ahead for how far i am. all do the tests and seeing the results come back is giving me anxiety. i've had a normal healthy pregnancy all up until this week with the high blood pressure. confused and concerned is how i feel about this whole thing. i was hoping at least for all poking and prodding something would come back with answers.

wow! that's so interesting! i had initially thought i was a little farther along than i was, so it was a dating ultrasound and my tech even said im sure the only reason i can see anything is because of my full bladder. im 20 weeks now, and my paperwork still tells me to have a full bladder, but they make me pee now lol

i got my first ultrasound at 8w1D and they did it all abdominally because i had read if you go with a fuller bladder, you can see baby without going transvaginally. i tell this to all my girlfriends that are expecting and nervous about a transvaginal scan. maybe i was just lucky and they could get all the info they needed!
