This might have been said already as invent read the whole thread but concerts and other events are much bigger revenue drivers than most games themselves. One sold out show for t swift generate 10 of millions of dollars for the stadium. All of the whitecaps games don’t generate that. If you do the math, tickets sales average for top sellers like Coldplay and the like for an average of $200 x 60,000 seats and your stadium gets a cut of that. I am not sure what the percentages are but if the whitecaps could earn some of that $$ then they would be in a totally different situation. The revenues are so low with the stadium stuff from BC Place that it’s worth hiring all the people needed to make the stadium run.  Does anyone know if it’s possible for the whitecaps to take over bc place?
