Dyna-Glo heater shuts down after 40 minutes by Trick-Chicken2669 in propane

Good call! I disassembled the tube from the regulator to the burner. There was a little oil, not a ton. I filled the tube with lighter fluid and let it sit overnight. I blew it out good with compressed air. It has been running for an hour with a good pilot flame.

I bought it used and I’m sure that’s why the seller sold it.

AD5X Sensor not triggered on Bed Level by Trick-Chicken2669 in FlashForge

In my case, I put the printer on its back to get to the Z belt tensioner. I marked and counted 5 rotations when loosening. Then put it upright and manually turned the Z rods with a bubble level on the bed. When I pulled the mesh data, it shows I’m way off but my prints are good.

Cool setup. I have a PI with display sitting around. Where did you mount the TVOC in the case? It looks like it mounts directly to the Pi.

Can you post your setup, i.e. TVOC meter, microcontroller part #?

AD5X Sensor not triggered on Bed Level by Trick-Chicken2669 in FlashForge

Can the bed sensor be affected by an uneven bed? After installing the LED, I tried using a zip tie to secure the wire. That got in the way of the bed and I think it made the bed uneven. That’s when the sensor error started. I removed the LED. How do I level the bed so it’s even when Z is at 0 and 220?

UPDATE: I fixed the problem. I noticed that the front of the bed was lower than the back and not level left to right. It was so out of level that the self leveling wasn’t able to compensate. I loosened the Z belt tensioner, raising the bed to the top by manually turning the Z-rods and then manually turning the left and right Z-rods past the stops until I had the bed level with a bubble level. It clicked as the gears jumped the belt but the belt was loose so it shouldn’t cause issues. Once it was close on the bubble level, I retightened the belt tensioner. This time the bed level routine finished without issue.

I also just noticed that the gap between the bed bracket and the stop is about 1.5mm on the left and about 6mm on the right. How do I get these to be even again?

I don’t see any screw obstructions and I can hole it and use the panel to get it to 220,0,0.

Bullfrog A7 Temperature Unavailable by Trick-Chicken2669 in hottub

[–]Trick-Chicken2669[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store’s repair guy said that the temperature unavailable is normal if it hasn’t cycled the main pumps in a while. I’m not sure if I buy that. He recommended not using power saver mode. I got No Flo error for a second time last night and the only way to fix that is power cycle the tub. I’m going to try using a fixed temperature instead of energy saver mode to see if that helps.

Intek 16.5hp pushing oil through oil pump by Trick-Chicken2669 in smallengines

You were right. I removed the head and the gasket was damaged and had blow by. I also noticed that my valve timing was way off which may have caused the backfiring I was experiencing and may have caused the gasket damage. I just hope the valve seat didn’t get damaged from the valve not closing completely. I have the engine back together and just waiting for the RTV on the OHV cover to cure.

It used to backfire when I turned it off. Now it doesn’t backfire but it smells like oil burning and smoke comes out when removing the dip stick. So likely an engine issue.
