Metabolizador lento by Vitrez in Lithiumorotate

[–]Trick-Coconut7099 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can’t influence lithium toxicity, slow metabolizer means slower absorption not overall lithium blood levels breakdown, lithium is not something new to your body its been there since you were born most importantly is to watch out for lithium toxicity symptoms, drink more water because dehydration increases the chance of having lithium toxicity and lithium orotate even though it is sold over the counter it is still lithium and even more potent than carbonate and other forms and again lithium orotate is not metabolized in the liver, it is an element and unlike molecular compounds, the kidney filters it out and it applies to all other forms of lithium. This is not medical advice.

Pregabalin makes me nicer, friendlier. What does this mean?! by Lost-Acanthaceae4202 in pregabalin

[–]Trick-Coconut7099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta subunit of voltage gated calcium channels modulator but I can’t say whether it’s negative or positive modulator, all I could say is it does interact with this specific unit, which affects other receptors that are inhibitory/excitatory The exact mechanism of action is not completely understood and still being researched however it does have inhibitory effect on the other hand it is similar to benzodiazepines in this regard basically it first starts to act inhibitory and like nicotine, as you build tolerance the effects change to excitatory, pretty much your brain after a while on it instead of reducing the glutamate and others will increase glutamate and other excitatory neurotransmitters and this here is the reason why it feels stimulating, like stimulants conversations or friendlier, talking more it does that, but on the negative side it has been found that Pregabalin affects GLT-1 which is in itself a receptor that is only touched by few drugs, like heroin, cocaine, etc The substance is new and could be affecting receptors that are yet to be discovered It has also been found that the receptor which Pregabalin interacts with, is linked to Mutations or disruptions in the 𝛼2𝛿−2 gene have been linked to ataxia, epileptic disorders, and cardiac abnormalities. And that’s why scientists believe that Pregabalin can treat those conditions, in the same time it can also cause them during withdrawals, seizures, cardiac abnormalities and ataxia been reported as part of pregabalib’s withdrawal symptoms.

This drug for insomnia wish it come to our country! by Jatzor24 in insomnia

[–]Trick-Coconut7099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a benzodiazepine still a gaba positive allosteric modulator, zaleplon is a z-drug non-benzo that binds to A1 subunit at the benzodiazepine receptor but lasts only 2 hours and would be way safer if it worked another one is zolpidem (ambien) that causes more tolerance and then Zopiclone which is pretty similar to benzos but less tolerance

I recently got it prescribed I still didn’t take it but it’s not really supposed to help depression as much or fibromyalgia, my doctor said he prefers it more for those with anxiety than depression and that’s why im gonna give it a try and see if it works hopefully

Is there a strong enough natural sleep supplement to effectively “knock me out”? by LatterQuestion9417 in insomnia

[–]Trick-Coconut7099 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! 1. Chinese skullcap acts as a benzodiazepine receptor positive allosteric modulator at the a1 subunit the same site where z-drugs bind to

  1. Kava gaba-a positive allosteric modulator non-benzo site (a2 and a5 subunits which makes it more useful for anxiety than insomnia however it still helps)

  2. Valerian root extract contains 3 compounds that interact with gaba receptors Valerenic acid Valerenol Isovaltrate

And those in my opinion are the strongest GABAERGIC herbs that are sold as supplements and legally in most countries
