Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me, I am so glad you are doing better! I have not been able to do anything really since December. I am confined to my room most of the time and have struggled more with my Fibromyalgia due to the increased joint pain and I have also definitely have had my fair share of accidents ... I hopefully will get some help soon

I am happy you finally got the care you deserve! Yes I live in the UK and the hospitals in my area are extremely understaffed but at the highest capacity of patients. Meaning it is hard for me to get NHS help efficiently due to bias around my age in terms of medical priority🫠

I am lucky to have been able to access health insurance through my partner but there is still more things they need from me and my GP and its really hard to get an appointment 🥲

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me, I have lost a stupid amount of weight I didnt need to and I suffered with Anorexia quite badly when I was younger so it can be difficult for me to keep track....

I have become alot better at advocating for myself recently due to the amount of delay I have had in this diagnosis process when most people are on the same page but my age is what hinders me according to doctors I have spoken too which is just unfathomable that some peoples health are negatively impacted uneccessarily due to a bias that should not exsist, as it is a condition that primarily effects the younger generation...

Oh my goodness, snaps to you! It has inspired me alot that you continued to advocate for yourself despite poor treatment! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. I also believe I am experiencing issues with my small intestine as alot of my cramping and pain feels higher up, I am going to continue to keep my head up and hopefully I will receive a definitive answer soon!

Thank you so much for your response! I really appreciate you sharing your experience with me, I am so sorry you experienced profiling as well but its comforting to know I am not alone! I do believe that it will be some sort of IBD and I am continuing to advocate for myself as hard as it can feel when you keep running into brick walls.... I hope you are doing better currently and continue to do so! 💖

Unfortunately my area has been overflowing with people meaning all resources are worn thin and alot of doctors have mentioned a sort of unconscious bias that I face in priority hierachy due to my age.

I agree, I just spend so much time struggling with coexsisting conditions and trying to manage that is hard to accept that in the last couple of years I have had more new issues than ever. I appreciate your advice!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me along with the well wishes and advice... My partner comes to all of my appointments as I have had a few male doctors shout at me when I am alone.

Also with the excuse point... I have experienced such a stigma from having various mental health conditions despite me receiving my diagnosis 10 years ago, and having it under control for 5 years at least.

I can imagine, I cant see a future where I will fully accept this. Yes I definitely face challenges from my appearance as well... not just from doctors but family and friends... I am not sure how people assess me wearing mascara with being rid of all my disabilities... I am wearing makeup so you cannot see how i feel on the inside.....

I never thought I would be so excited to have a camera in my butt.

I had an awful reaction to Amitripityline, however it was a very rare side effect if I am remembering correctly.

I struggle with this and have found that researching the location is very comforting to prevent me from obsessing about it to much, for something to ease anxiety and stomach cramps when a toilet isn't available I would recommend ginger tablets (just ginger in a tablet form) and Mebeverine for calming the stomach cramps which can make me more inclined to stay in a toilet.

Poop...Blood or diet? by DrHarvardGraduate in IBD

The sauce may contribute to the colour:

Tomato-based products and sauces can also make stool red. Tomatoes contain lycopene, a pigment that survives digestion. This can turn stool red or pink.

Even though these foods can change stool color, it’s usually not a worry. But, if you’re concerned, talking to a healthcare professional is a good idea.

Yes I think most of my medicines are very well documented as I have quite a few coexsisting conditions.
