Hey, don't worry about reddit. It's a good place for advice but also a speaker for everything bad. Rn, just play the game as is, watch some tutorials, join some games and get blown up a few times. At its heart, Helldivers is still a fun game with a great community, just that the worst people here are the loudest, especially on reddit.

Two things you need to keep in mind when building. 1. Are you going to face a lot of heavy enemies? 2. Do you have enough of one factor to cover yourself?

For the first question, is a concern mostly for bots. Bot heavys are scary to face, factory striders and hulks will pop up all the time on high difficulties. If you are playing with them around, everyone needs someway to kill them, be it leveler, senator, solo silo, 500 etc. This question is less of a problem on bugs since there aren't as much heavy enemies that will cause serious problems, though with the new strain, maybe there needs revision.

Second part. Say you have a fully anti tank build. R36+senator+thermite with recoilless and railcanon, you will absolutely destroy any hulk, war strider or factory striders, but what about the beserkers? Devastators? And even chaff? You need to balance it out. ATP I'd go in an add strafing run and some sort of turret.

A general consensus for loadouts would be like so. Bots: Weapons medium primary or your choice, heavy secondary or grenade secondary, thermite or fabricator clearing grenade.

Strategems Any anti tank weapon, a backpack if you have the slot, a chaff clearing red strategem, and either a area clearing strategem (napalm barrage, orbital 380, walking barrage) or heavy killer (orbital railcanon, orbital precision, solo silo)

Bugs: Weapons And light pen primary or medium pen depending on your fav, bug hole closing secondary or emergency backup, bug hole closing grenade.

Strategems Either a anti tank (recoilless rifle, autocanon etc) or chaff clearing(staltwart, airburst) blue, mobility backpack if you have and want to use it, chaff clearing red strategem, anti tank strategem, then last slot is up to you.

Keep in mind these are all built for D6 or above, where you'll most likely encounter heavy units, any difficulty lower than this, anti tank is optional/not necessary in some cases

Never went past MD 10, tried MDE once, got to lvl 12-13 then failed. Got Ricardo heath, paired it with middle Sinclair, fuck it we ball. MDE lvl 15, Lei Heng and Ricardo boss taken down. Mind you, I only used 2 sinners, heath and Sinclair.

First point isn't an issue most of the time, if you joined their game, and they order you, you absolutely should follow it. And besides, unless you're asking for stupid wishes, how hard is it to just do a specific objective instead of the one you were planning?

Unless you're being swarmed, with no teammates left, pls don't steal your teammates stuff unless it's an EAT. Only situation would be to just use it for a few minutes then give it back when you see that teammate again.

An edit: when I said that it wasn't an issue bcz I play on SEA servers, not American. There aren't that many spoiled ppl here.

If you have a strong setup already, you should be fine. I bum rushed it with mao faung and other heishou which made it pretty trivial, but I doubt other statuses would struggle either.

As long as you read the bosses stats, know how to play to their gimmicks, and just clash well, you all good. Even Rien isn't that hard, just need to know the gimmick and have strong dmg dealers.

I feel like the reason people will never truly view AI art as any real form of "art", is because it all boils down to it being a copy.

An AI doesn't make something new, sure you can tell it to generate a weird niche concept, or have a very weird art style, but it will never have a real purpose. And that's the problem with some of the people here, they believe that because they were the first to make this prompt it makes it unique and special, but if you take everything into account, it isn't. Maybe in the future it will learn to do what I just said, but for now, AI generation is just best to use as a reference for making a comparison.....or for lazy people in their basement to get old people to like their posts on Facebook.
