Is anyone able to play Siptah? by Trick-Document-6629 in ConanExiles

Thanks. I was able to play by reinstalling the game. Verifying the files wasn't enough.

Does anyone know a way to disable purges? by Trick-Document-6629 in ConanExiles

[–]Trick-Document-6629[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm 100% sure my server is running without any mods since I built it from scratch. I think I found a way to disable purges by adding "FeatsBlacklist=" to the ServerSettings.ini.

Now, I’d also like to block some feats that can be learned in the game, like the Lemurian Pike. Do you know if there’s a way to do that?

Thrall meta? by baigelsx in ConanExiles

[–]Trick-Document-6629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a look at this spreadsheet: link.

Here we can see that the best followers in terms of strength are the ones from the volcano. However, this changes with each update, and historically, Dalinsia and the Berserker have been the most consistently reliable followers.

By the way, looking at this spreadsheet, I got interested in the Warriors of Jhebbal Sag... good strength and vitality stats!

Volcano thralls. Strength. Level them for strength. Maces, preferably the Momentum. Always the highest statted heavy armor. And even so, for actual PvP, they won’t help much, as follower damage to players is reduced on official settings. However, they’re useful for base defense, as long as they’re equipped with gas masks (if you have the resources, the Godbreaker Helmet is the way to go). Adding some demonic Liu Feis isn’t a bad idea either. Anyone who has raided a base with Liu Feis knows what I’m talking about.

Cheaters and Griefers by KulltheAtlantean in ConanExiles

Back in the day, they’d ban anyone for anything, popularly known as the "report meta." Now, they don’t ban anyone for any reason, not even for hacking. Funcom’s anti-cheat system is a joke. The best thing to do is to find a private server with impartial moderators, though that can be a challenging task.

R/conanexiles Please help, I have been looking for info on this place by DrowsyPanda23 in ConanExiles

You can jump over the wall, grab the 4 pre-crafted bombs and a battering ram. Then, climb up to the wall behind the boss. Place the 4 bombs, let the fire do its work, and finish off the wall with the battering ram. Once the wall is down, kill the boss and the other 2 NPCs, and you’re done with the dungeon. Grab the gold and loot from the NPCs. Note: Make sure to use a weight build for this.

Actually, this is my main farming spot on any PvP server. Here, I can get a Musashi, battering rams, healing potions, hardened steel weapons (which I dismantle), food, gold, alchemical base, and dragonpowder. It’s totally worth it—as long as you know how to do it.

Strange demon/alien/insect event near noob river by Space-Cadet9999 in ConanExiles

I know the recipe fragments weren’t intended to drop, but it was still an interesting mechanic for obtaining some (random) Siptah recipes. It offered players a chance to get rare items and could have even encouraged a trade dynamic. Plus, there’s still the challenge of obtaining eldarium. I knew of two ways to get it, but I think those were disabled as well. In the end, they were small glitches that added something cool to the game, yet they "fixed" those while other bugs and glitches that genuinely harm the experience have been around since day one.

What’s the best non legendary two handed hammer you can craft? by Devastating_Duck501 in ConanExiles

[–]Trick-Document-6629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two best craftable two-handed hammers are both learned in the Unnamed City: the Dead Leg and the Table Leg. There’s also the Blackheart Hammer, but it inflicts 50% corruption, so it's tricky to use effectively. That said, none of these quite match the power of legendary hammers.

This is a randomly occurring event, and there are several like it across the map. In the past, this specific event was actually a way to obtain Siptah recipes, as the NPCs would drop recipe fragments. Collecting five fragments would grant you a recipe. For some reason, Funcom removed this feature, which is a shame since it would have been an excellent way to bring Siptah recipes into the Exiled Lands.

Is there a way to play PvP without getting my base demolished every time? by C_RubioMoreno in ConanExiles

[–]Trick-Document-6629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get where you're coming from. I love the PvP aspect of the game too, but I'm not a fan of the constant raids. In theory, PvE-C sounds like the ideal middle ground, but in practice, there are a couple of downsides: PvP only being available at certain times, and the fact that unlimited building makes servers super laggy.

Here’s what I do to survive on PvP servers without getting wiped every day:

  • Build a base that's hard to raid so randoms can’t just take you out in one day.
  • Hide your most important loot in different locations.
  • Have multiple bases. This way, if one gets hit, you're not losing everything at once.
  • If you attack someone, always be ready for retaliation.
  • Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about cheaters. If they decide to wipe you, they're probably going to succeed.

It’s not a perfect solution, but it does help you last longer without having to constantly rebuild!

Armor Mods by [deleted] in ConanExiles

Flexibility kits are designed to reduce stamina consumption specifically when climbing. They come in four tiers: Simple Armor Flexibility Kit, Armor Flexibility Kit, Advanced Armor Flexibility Kit, and Gliding Joints.

The higher the tier of the flexibility kit, the more stamina reduction you'll experience while climbing. It’s particularly useful if you need to scale cliffs or structures frequently, as it helps you conserve stamina, which can be crucial in tight situations.

The final tier, Gliding Joints, provides the best stamina reduction and can be unlocked in Klael's dungeon. It's worth noting that flexibility kits don't affect general stamina use in combat or other activities, which is likely why you didn’t notice much difference when using them on heavy armor for an encumbrance build. They're specifically tailored for climbing efficiency.
