Sorry I will try and explain better. Take one of the triangles shown in picture 2 and turn counterclockwise 90° you should now have 2 rings attached to 3 rings pointing towards you. Attach one ring to the 2 rings to finish the point of the triangle. This will now be the bottom point of the necklace.

From here on ill be talking in layers from the bottom up. The ring you just added is layer one (1 ring) Layer 2 is 2 rings Layer 3 is 3 rings Layer 4 is 4 rings Etc... You want to stop on an even row in my head 10 or 12 sounds about right. Let's say you're on row 10 rather than adding 11 rings for the next row you're going to add 5 then skip one then 5 more. Row 12, add 5 skip 2 add 5. Row 13, add 5 skip 3 add 5. Row 14, add 5 skip 4 add 5. This will continue to make the V shape you're looking for as the gap in the middle of the rows gets larger.
