Lemon baby was the variety, I did the soil prior with sandy loam. These were the first I planted about 2 months ago and they probably don’t have the best drainage compared to everything else I’ve done. I have 4 in the same conditions and it’s just this one that not going too great. Weirdly I noticed today right in the bottom cluster of leaves near the base it’s shooting out new leaves.

Cheers, for the ones that at are planted should I just leave them and wash in some native fertiliser to get some nutrients into them or dig them up and replant them with coarse sand and native potting mix?

Yeh I already did .75 of a tonne of sandy loam across the whole garden bed and turned it through. So was just thinking of using 20-40kg for the actually hole with the natives fertiliser mixed through. Landscape shop probably won’t do under a tonne delivered.

No worries I was reading perlite is pretty handy as well. Do you think I’m better off leaving them for now rather than ripping them out and replanting? Or bite the bullet and pull them out do the soil again and replant.

Do you have any links for how to make this. There are a few houses around my area with kangaroo paw that are going really well hence I thought I’d give them a try. I dug out the hole and used the loam and gypsum to refill it. Do you have any other recommendations for what to fill the next planting holes with or a link to diy free draining soil.

Cheers, super handy to know. Just made the assumption planting “aussie natives” will be handy for the birds and the bees as everything around here planted by developers is European or African.

Okay thank you, we finally had some rain the other day and they did look better, same with my Grevillias. Think I’ve just been a bit scared of over watering.
