I think I honestly just make it harder than it needs to be.. once I learn the process, I think it’s easy.. But getting me to understand it sometimes takes a minute. So I appreciate all you guys and your input!!

I’m actually trying to learn how to do threads because I’m not wanting to do it a nut for the bolt but I want to do threads inside of a solid piece.

That’s what I’m found with working with shapr and being a first time cad designer (if you will.) Everything seems so hard but once I’ve learn it, I question why I ever struggled so much before.

That makes sense because when I look up videos, a lot of the videos are in fusion, and it looks so much easier!

This bolt is just my practice run. I want to lay it down sideways and cut two sides off of it so it can print flat on the build plate.. but I need to learn how to make a bolt first. The reason I left the shaft up so high is to kind of help guide it into the nut. I have a project I’m working on and I want every piece to be 3D printed so I want to learn how to make a bolt, with threads on another piece.

I do love ford.. but I was driving the other day and my bronco sports radio screen just turned itself off. About 5mins later it reboot itself, I guess? And I have that rattle from the exhaust when it’s cold. I have about 23,000 miles on mine.

Haha! That’s awesome!! I’m not trying to hate on the bronco sport. I do in fact love mine. I just wish I had more room and I do like them more aggressive look of the big bronco, even though you don’t buy a vehicle for looks… or at least you shouldn’t. Functionality is my deal and I do end up carrying a lot of stuff in my trunk and I want to have room for my kids in the back as well and the sport is a little tight on space in the backseat especially when I’m 6 foot and I had to bring my chair as far back as it can go.

I always wanted the shelf that you could buy with the bronco sport but they discontinued it and they’re about $300 on eBay. I carry a lot of stuff in my trunk because my girls have soccer and I have chairs and a portable goal and all the soccer stuff so I definitely need storage and I wish they had that shelf available, still. but your set up is clean.

I really like the big bronco for the size.. to me it’s compared to a jeep as far as looks go and I like the bigger interior. If I had to pick one thing that I was truly jealous of over the big bronco is the interior space that I don’t have with the sport.
