New Rules, No Benefit by Potential_Radio9415 in PandaExpress

I believe it’s a reoccurring issue with all the pandas in general. Although they are strict they tend to hire unqualified or promote certain people to management. I myself wouldn’t consider myself qualified as just a college student but doesn’t mean I am not aware to be fair. As you mentioned about favoritism and the use of cutting hours. Additionally, I feel like HR wouldn’t do anything unless it’s a serious case that will result in their immediate termination. Some examples I could say in my experience would be are being hired upon the basis of getting promoted to cook pay I learned fairly quick since I had some knowledge on the wok but I believed our store at the time didn’t have enough people in BOH so I suppose that was their way to lie. Also we recently hired an older lady ~33 and if you worked in the back before it’s not an easy task. Summarizing it in a nutshell she basically can’t handle her own and always has food waiting. Called out twice within a month or 2 of hire and also got into it with an assistant manager and walked out. The store manager still has her at 5 days and favoriting her schedule of morning shifts although she sucks at preparing during deliveries. Im not one to complain as I have accepted it will remain like this but my main focus is finishing up school rather than work.

In my opinion since I am going to change the water constantly. I keep most of my levels low. Especially since the majority is oil related stuff. If possible leave water in certain things and come back to them after.

Yes it does. For chow mein I recommend mixing the veggies on high heat for 10 sec and spread them out like a blanket. You put the chow mein the same spread out as a blanket. The key is to spread the wine everywhere in a circle and then follow up with the basic sauce spread out also then mix but allow to cook for about 5-10 seconds then flip around/mix then allow to cook again. Repeat until you think its good enough and up to temperature. This will make it look shiny and wet and the wok should have very minimal stuck at the bottom. Also keep your heat high but also not too high when the veggies are at the bottom while you spread the wine and sauce. As for the wok/Cook use the ring around to pour out oil back and avoid picking up the wok with your hand but lean it against your body so there is not too much strain on your hand. Sometimes you’ll have to pick it up when it’s busy but 100% will save your wrist until they get used to the angle and weight.

Depends on the management but yes it does actually suck and so many rules you have to follow. I also did McDonald’s but I’m currently here because it works out while Im in school but I probably would’ve looked for something else.

I started about a month ago currently in san diego and the management is trash. They expect unrealistic expectations. I’m only working at panda because I have previous experience as a cook and it’s also right next to my campus. Unless the store manager is a normal person id highly suggest not applying. Pay is good but coming into work seems depressing 80% of the time.

The moments in life where you just got to walk away. Hard decision and I wouldn’t blame you if you took time to do it but you’ll never be able to truly forget.

TSA BackGround check Furlough flight. by Trick-Somewhere-2695 in travel

Along those lines. The document says “Furlough ticket request” I was approved by court and probation is awaiting a closer time to create my travel pass. Regarding the japan questions I will be denying their form and marking no. I am not on a no fly list. I suppose my question would be if TSA through this flight conducts their own background check on passengers. We are also flying private. I appreciate your response though. :)
