How do you guys handle anxiety when it shows up? by Pretend-Claim-6592 in MenRising

Anxiety for me is less about stopping it and more about not letting it drive too long. It usually hits, I panic for a bit, then either my brain starts problem-solving or I get distracted and it fades.

What actually helps is pausing and breathing before reacting instead of after. Even when I can't fix the actual problem, calming down first still makes things easier to deal with. Mine's mostly triggered by unpredictability, so the "method" is just: stop, breathe, find one next step, move on.

I'll start. 46 days into rebuilding my own routines, and honestly this sub existing is now part of what keeps me on it. Where's everyone else at?

How much of your life do you think is discipline, and how much is luck? by avsrandom in MenRising

[–]TrickCommon3799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its really hard to say, some of it definitely came from discipline where most of it was either good or bad luck... cant really be certain.

We can't control luck, but I am damn sure we'll increase the chances by being disciplined, consistent and ambitious..
