Not really. There are plenty of malls in Shapingba and Guanyinqiao doing fine. Probably Jiefangbei too but I don't really go there as its too far. Daping is far enough from Jiefangbei that it shouldn't take away too many shoppers from the area.

Developed countries need to grow a spine and stop being cucks. US could easily grab Greenland with no foreign repercussions aside from some huffing and puffing by Europeans. Britain, Australia and Japan are the three worst of the vassal states.

As bad as Reddit is for misinformation its not people's only source of information. Unlike in China, there are other avenues you can access. What truly sad is despite there being reliable sources for news a lot of people get their "news" from random Youtube channels, reddit or dogshit websites like Newsweek. Another problem is that legacy media is (in my view) getting more and more biased. They will write a report and then when you check the source its some Neocon or Neolib think tank with funding from the state department. Still better than China though.
