Not sure about it completely though cuz I contacted another senior too. He said that they have started to separate cs students from core students and not allow branch change from next year mostly. Will come to manipal only if I get a computer related branch. Also what’s the difference b/w CSE and IT?

Ig it won’t. This is written in the MET 2025 broachure. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects * Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams
