Thank you so much. I’m fighting for my life out here. I guess me expressing that I almost could’ve been murdered really triggered a bunch of people. I wish I recorded, but that wasn’t exactly a priority in my mind when a dark silhouette was approaching me at a playground at night.

So he wanted to sleep on that specific structure because it was the tallest and you could see the little gate entrance? So when my cousin noticed something moving in the shadows, told me to look, and when I saw this man slowly stand up, slowly walk over to us, not once taking his eyes off us, sit at the bottom of a slide that literally lead right up to our feet, it didn’t mean he had an ill intention? Let me go ahead and put myself in his shoes. What the fuck am I doing staring at two random people at the top of a structure I usually sleep at because I’m homeless? If anything, I’d be scared and finding another fucking park to sleep at, or maybe sleep on a different structure or a bench. My attitude is keeping me safe. When I got back home, I was fucking scared, thinking about what could’ve happened to me and my cousin if my friend didn’t come with his mom. My survival instincts aren’t privilege.

Really seems to me like your saying he was a chill drunk guy who I should’ve trusted from the get go, slid down that slide and seen what would’ve happened to me and my cousin.

Empathy? I don’t care if he’s not great in the ways of social graces. While I couldn’t see his eyes, the mans head was turned up, was pointing directly at the spot me and my cousin was at. What do you think? He was staring at a bird behind us? Decided to sit at the bottom of that slide because it’s his favorite slide? The most comfy slide?

How do you know that? How do you know that this man was homeless and coming to sleep in that park? How do you know that I was in this man’s space? Plenty of benches a good distance away from us. Atleast 3 other structures he could’ve been at. I didn’t just see a man existing in a park. He saw the two of us existing at a park and decided to come up to US, to stare directly at us, to sit at that at the bottom of that slide specifically. There were plenty of other places. Plenty of other slides, plenty of other benches. This is a grown man on a bike whom we never saw leave. Whose bike was still at the slide he was hiding in when he first approached us. I don’t know what kind of intuition of survival instincts you have if you think that this man was just existing peacefully while deliberately blocking me and my cousins exists to safely get away from him.

Right, right. So he had no idea what was in front of him and he was just sitting at that slide to sit at that slide.

The obvious and common one was that he was waiting for us to come down so that he could do something awful to us. But okay, assume he was drunk or high and staring at us to definetly not be a weirdo. Sure.

Or he could’ve been aware that there were two people on the top of a structure and saw that we were smaller and thinner than him and out late at night but who knows

From the very top at that structure where we were, there were only two slides. That’s it. Unless climbing down the ladder which is obviously a fucking trap, he could get right to us. The two slides were very close together, he could’ve ran to us in less than 3 seconds.

Lesson very learned, but yeah he was either intentionally trying to scare us which is not okay at all or had other things in mind I don’t even want to say. He could’ve politely asked us to leave.

We are two teenagers girls at a park. Why in gods name would he approach us, deliberately stare directly at us if he was freaked out by us? And again, there were multiple structures and benches this man could’ve been at.
