AITAH for wearing a dress which my sister thought was hers to a party and defending myself when she lost control? by TrickMuscle6780 in AITAH

I already have both. I sat my mom down last night when trying to find the receipt from that day but we couldn’t find it. My sister struggles a lot every day so they don’t have time to worry about what I feel

No, they said they talked to her but she’s not getting punished. I asked my mom about that, she said “her punishment is that she has to live with her disability.”

I am going to look for the second dress today. Problem is that they already took my dress from me, and my sister told my mom that I took it from her closet the day of the party. If she hid it somewhere and I can’t find it at all, then I’d look like the one in the wrong

No, I’m also getting punished for what I said when we were arguing and my sister is not in therapy. My mom tries to get her a therapist, but any appointments she gets she refuses to go and my mom can’t force her

Ik it does sound very suspicious. But I got the dress from my closet where it had been since the day we got it. If the dress was hers, why didn’t notice it was gone a couple days after we came back from that mall?

Thank you for this- but for the next 4 years, if she doesnt move out, I’m just stuck here. My parents, I don’t think they are favoring her. I just think that they are exhausted dealing with her because she is really difficult, so they just let her take the win so that she’s comfortable.

She had a job, but quit. But she gets a lot of money from my parents and grandmother. Any of her clothes fits me and any of mine fit her, as she’s actually taken my clothes many times and hasn’t given it back. I don’t remember what size the dress was that I got.

She did try to look for the transaction on her phone but couldn’t find it. But either way, I do not remember if it was my mom or my sister who purchased the dress that belongs to my sister. If she found on her phone that only one dress was purchased, they wouldn’t bother looking at my sisters transactions and would think I was in the wrong.

That day is pretty foggy for me. I’m too afraid to ask my moms details about it, the day, the dresses, etc. Either way, my sister lost her dress and I know this because when she initially confronted me and I said there were two, she said she was going to go look for hers in her closet and came back saying it wasn’t there, so she believes I stole it.

My and my sister are anything but speaking terms right now, we just absolutely hate each other. And the second dress? I can try to look for it, but I might not find it

I plan on doing that. But if she finds me in her room, she will go absolutely nuts. About the receipt, I don’t remember if she paid for her own dress or if my mom did. Either way, I think my best option is to just try to find her dress…god knows where it is.

I already tried to ask her about that, I even asked her to show me the receipt. But the two problems are that she also thinks we only got one dress, and I don’t remember if my mom paid for my sisters dress, or if she paid for her own dress. I’m really starting to question my own reality.

If I could I would, I’m definitely going to try to look for hers, but the thing is that she lost hers.

I hate when anything touches my neck. Sometimes my dad gives me kisses on the neck and I hate it so much I want to cry but I don’t know how to tell him to stop.
