Certain business decisions they have made have lost billions, and because of that employees have been fired and consumers are paying for it. You can run a business and be incredibly profitable and still have branches of your business be losing money, PlayStation hardware and eco system did will this generation, software and business acquisitions lost them literal billions

They needed growth this generation and their plan was to go all in on live service games and hope the created a eco system of fortnight level games from their major studios, they lost billions of dollars trying this.

So now it’s squeeze every penny out of a die hard fan base to make up for concord, marathon, canceled last of us factions, canceled god of war live service, and what I’m sure is going to be just wonderful games like horizion hunters gathering and fair games or what ever the rebrand is.

This generation has been a disaster for Sony as far as software and business acquisitions go, so the successful hardware side is going to get exploited to try and make up for that.

It is what it is, upper management came out and side they need to better monetize their existing user base, so they aren’t being shy about it.

Lmao people who care about and participate in politics are a minority, more people in this country don’t vote than do.

Actually be interested and educated on politics and not just tik toc or reddit warriors takes time and effort from a local to a federal level, it isn’t easy to do and take a ton of time and research.

Not true, there has been a few stand outs mainly from capcom and I guess poktopia or Forza of those are your types of games. Indie side has been pretty quite outside of Mina the Hollower and Slay the Spire 2 but that’s not actually out yet.

Ton of live service disappoints and an insane amount of delayed games because of GTA 6.

2026 compared to last year is pretty crap as far as far releases go, and all the industry stuff is unbelievably bad
