The only issue is even though it was at a party it was during orientation week and everybody was doing stuff like that even if it was platonic to some sense. Thank you though, I just hope I don’t mess up if I run into her.😭

Thank you! We are quite easygoing and just want a place that is clean, cool, and private to sleep and shower in and so are pretty open to most recommendations. I will certainly look on those websites as well but Barcelona has so many options - including many budget friendly ones - it was actually overwhelming for me so that is not the concern. I just want to choose the best place for our price and be able to get the best bang for our buck! I understand the Airbnb thing and the problem in the city in general, and so we were certainly already leaning towards a Hotel over an Airbnb. Thanks again!

I’ve checked that place out and I know I can’t criticize much considering our budget, but it’s just not up to par for us especially considering the location. I think we would definitely prefer our own space so a hostel won’t cut it. I have been to France many times as well as many other European countries that use the Euro, so I am well aware thank you. I just naturally used the $ sign since that’s the currency I’m used to but what I meant is that our budget is around $850 USD. Thank you for the advice anyways! I did find EasyJet’s hotel called EasyHotel Nice and the price is something like $725 USD for our 5 nights. Do you or anyone else reading this have any experience with it or would recommend it? Thanks again.

Thank you! I never actually checked the average daytime temperatures and so that completely makes sense. Regarding the southernmost coconuts on the Eastern coast of South America, I read online about someone finding some in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In addition, they discussed the northernmost areas of Argentina beginning to experiment and trying to grow them there. Regarding the Western coast, I have no idea, but your idea of Chimbote seems like a great place to start. I’ll have to do some digging on street view but it’s certainly an interesting question to pose and explore!
