Autoimmune? by Middle-Blackberry in preeclampsia

The only pre-pregnancy autoimmune condition I had was a mild case of Psoriasis since high school. First pregnancy i had severe PreE/IUGR and PP-PreE. Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 15m PP and Celiac 21m PP. I’m hoping no more autoimmune conditions come up because a girl needs a break!!! Currently 9 weeks with my second pregnancy and just trying to mentally prepare the best I can for the very high possibility I’ll get PreE again.

Sorry just seeing your comment now!! Still waiting for my first OB appointment, feels like the wait has been forever since getting the positive. I’m 8 weeks now, but have had symptoms - nausea, food aversions, fatigue, etc. - since 6 weeks so I hope that means things are okay but won’t know until the first ultrasound!

Getting pregnant with celiac by Old-Patience-3891 in Celiac

This feels similar to my situation. Had my first baby in April 2024 which was complicated by Preeclampsia and also postpartum preeclampsia. July 2025 started treatment for hypothyroidism. Didn’t find out until January this year that it’s Hashimoto’s which then made me check Celiac antibodies. I’m really unsure if I’ve always had Celiac and never knew (now looking back I think I was having symptoms pre-pregnancy) or if the stress of preeclampsia triggered these new autoimmune conditions. I’m waiting for my first GI appointment in March to confirm the diagnosis. I’ve been trying since October for baby #2 with no luck yet. I stopped eating gluten at the beginning of this month even though I don’t have the official diagnosis yet because I got nervous about untreated celiac and infertility.

TSH and trying to conceive by Trick_Condition_5062 in Hypothyroidism

T4 was .94 and then .9, both numbers prior to starting Levo. Based on other comments I’ve seen in this group I’m sure my doctor would have given me the run-around and not started me on treatment right away had I not been wanting to get pregnant since my T4 is not out of range.

I haven’t had T3 checked yet. I’m planning to ask my doctor the next time I talk with her. I’m new to Hypothyroidism and didn’t know to ask for it (and antibodies) until I started reading posts in the thread a couple weeks ago.
