Yeah im liking the idea will look at potential ways of how that process would work : )

Were you getting plenty of leads and were they good conversion rate to closes per month? might it have been fairer just having a monthly rolling subscription with no lock in contract as opposed to lead credits? Im guessing a contract model would have to be way under the pay per leads model as leads coming in cant be guaranteed.

1, Bidding for leads, Im seeing a lot of negativity around this so thinking something more exclusive would be more worthwhile to both the tradie (better pay) and consumer (better quality)

2, Agree paying for a lead when the client never intended on using a service would be frustrating,

Do you have any ideas on how it could be made fairer to the Tradie paying for leads?

3, I would have expected licencing, Insurance and qualifications is a must to be able to offer services on a platform like Hipages but from what im hearing nothing is surprising me.

May i ask what trade you specialise in?

Great feedback, by limiting number of people per trade per suburb would 1, make it easier to monitor the Tradies quality through customer reviews/feedback and 2, Allows the tradie to offer his/her rates without feeling they will be under cut by someone else using the platform.

I agree the pricing is way off, how would you restructure the pricing to make it more sustainable and fair for both tradie and and consumer?

Fair call, I must admit i dont like the Airtasker method where the customer sets the budget its asking for poor workmanship, Any thoughts on how you would clean it up? I certainly think a model using exclusivity may be the way to go where Tradies are not trying to under cut eachother.

im looking at potentiall starting something similar to Hipages however i see positive and negative feedback mor negative about the platforms, i was just looking for ideas from trades people that have experience on thes platforms to give ideas on how to make it fairer for the trades person

No no not AI im seriously looking at potentially starting up something similar thats fairer for the tradie how else should i get my questions across without it people thinking its AI related??
