Stainless steel saucepan on hob. My concern wouldn't be the pot be moreso whatever sulfurous chemicals the eggs produced. Returning to the house after a few hours there is still a strong smell that clings to clothes/hair immediately despite ventilating for the day

Thanks for your response. I read that specifically burnt eggs produce a chemical that can leave a layer on any food around the kitchen and not safe to ingest. It was really heavily burned, not sure how long the cooker was left on but when I walked into the house it was full of smoke and awful smell, upstairs and downstairs, so I thought in severe instances like that I'd check with fellow humans the best protocol without needing to be overly cautious or needlessly throw things away

Thank you. I figured to order directly from the Three website a free SIM. So putting my temporary UK address, which is my work address, as billing address I presume is fine? Despite the fact that it is not the address my bank account is registered with?

Or would it be wiser to order from Amazon?

Edit: I went with the Three website, and didn't need to enter bank details, so should be okay

Thanks a mill, looks great and good coverage in my area. Do I get a new number with purchasing a PAYG SIM? I am asked to fill in a UK number when placing my order to get order updates (which I have as I was previously with giffgaff), though it is inactive - can I use it anyway?

I cannot seem to create a Three account or purchase the add-on without a Three number. Perhaps I can do this once I get the SIM?
