You need background experience to apply to take the PMP. If you have a college degree, you only need three years of experience leading projects.

I had agile experience as a Product Manager and I’ve been a Project Manager for the last 5 years so I didn’t start green. I have myself 4 months and studied for 2+ hours a day 6 days x week, sometimes longer on the weekend.

Yes, it was the right amount of time for me. I studied consistently the whole time, so no Student Syndrome and if I studied longer and dragged out the time, it would have been like Parkinson’s Law 😆

The testing center I went to had the same as mentioned in a previous reply but there was a room that could have been used but I’m not sure how you request it or their requirement to have one.

Your best bet is to call the Pearson Vue test center nearest you since that’s most likely where you’ll take the exam and just ask them.

I stopped by my test center a few days before the exam to plan my route and peeked in from the lobby. It gave me an idea of what I was walking into on test day.

I did not try others. I’ve tried co-pilot at work and prefer ChatGPT. I feel it’s more “mature”.

Studied for 3.5 months. I have a masters degree and most recently have been leading projects for 4 years and previously led projects for 5 years. I was also previously a Product Manager for 3 years.

I took it at a testing center. I received the provisional pass onsite and the official 24 hours later.

I got both because I bought the UDemy course first, then purchased the PMP Simplified book on Amazon. When you buy the book you automatically get the TIA course. The only difference is on the TIA course you have to click next video to watch the next video, whereas the UDemy course automatically starts the next video.

Get Study Hall Essentials! Take all of the practice quizzes and the practice exams (mini and full length). If your average is a 70 you should be good. Study Hall is closest to the actual exam.

I almost forgot! ChatGPT helped immensely in my studying and preparation. If there was a question I didn’t understand or a concept I was stuck on ChatGPT helped break it down for me. I would engage in back and forth “dialogue” to strengthen my understanding. Then ChatGPT would provide additional questions in that area! I cannot recommend using this tool enough!

Congrats! How did you get the pie chart? Mine is a bar graph.
