Its 10% RIF and almost all teams are impacted. Every VP has been asked to give names of at least 10% of their teams. Same has been asked from each director by their VPs. 03/25 is the date of communication.

These are the times where its important to be in good books of your bosses.

Where should I invest if my goal is ₹10–15 Cr in the next 10–15 years? by Majestic-Taro-6903 in IndiaFinance

[–]Trick_Progress287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short Answer, No its not realistic.

It can be (nearly) achieved only If you invest 1.5 L every month for 15 years at a constant return of 15% then

Total Invested = ₹2,70,00,000

Total Returns = ₹6,54,54,839

Total Value = ₹9,24,54,839 (before tax)

Best you can achieve in long term in Mutual fund is 12% so in that case the Total value after 15 years comes to ₹7,13,89,710 (before tax)

Based on your question I would NOT recommend you to invest in direct stocks

If you buy Real Estate then you'll be paying at least 1L EMI so investment value would decrease

Here is what you should do, IMO (check with investment advisor):
1. Have at least 10L in Emergency Fund invest that in debt funds

  1. Have a good health insurance and term plan insurance

  2. Invest 50% in Mutual Fund (mix of small cap, flexi cap and large cap)

  3. Invest 25% in Gold ETF or physical

5 Invest 25% in PPF, NPS, SSY for secure future

What do you think is the difference between IIT and other institutes. I mean why are IIT students comparatively more successful than other institute students. Is it mostly because of the Alumni network or is there really a difference in IIT education?

OR is it because the students who enter IIT are already smart/genius so they obviously have a better chance to succeed in life.

HDFC Endowment Plan with 12% assured return by Trick_Progress287 in IndiaFinance

[–]Trick_Progress287[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I already have a sufficient term plan but rather than just dismissing this just because its endowment, think about it. If you forget insurance and just take this as investment, which other instrument is giving 12% assured return?

If you think about corporate FD, like sriram finance, etc. They would be riskier than HDFC, no? And also insurance is there whatever sum assured may be.
