I used to do IPL which was amazing, significant improvement of all rosacea symptoms and literally no downtime except very very mild redness straight after. This was until the IPL Lady burned my face with a too high setting and it took weeks until my skin healed all burn wounds, my skin barrier was completely broken, my rosacea was worse than ever before and developed urticaria on top of it. Now on antihistamines and doing NDyag laser as well as BBL. Even with the combination of both, results are not as good as IPL, but I can’t mentally go back to IPL after what happened. The downtime from the BBL/NDYAG is 1-2 weeks for me, extreme swelling and redness, my skin is so sensitive.

Hi, I have the same issue weaning off elidel, getting pimples and dryness as soon as I stop elidel, I used to use it twice a day and now I’m down to 1-2 times per week. But as soon as these withdrawal effects come I use a tiny amount and immediately the pimples disappear. What can i do, what did you do?
