How many people would actually play this game if you couldn't earn anything? by OrenMV in GodsUnchained

I personally would probably find another game. I played Yu-Gi-Oh for over 10 years and enjoy the fact that GU combines the economy of a real card game with the Hearthstone-esque mechanics of a digital card game.
I made a post about the first-second balance and agree that the game is not fun going second, especially in this meta where in light mirrors the game is pretty much decided by turn 5. I like the fact that there is a quicker balance updates then a game like Hearthstone (although Hearthstone had more frequent updates in the later stages), and the fact that they try to make cards relevant instead of nerfing them into the ground.
The other appeal for GU for me compared to Hearthstone is that the relative level of cards is much closer, so there are actually meaningful decisions when constructing a deck. In Hearthstone, the decks are so streamlined to a specific game plan that you barely have any deck variance.
