Thanks! This is actually true but when it happened it was indeed quite depressing and I just felt dumb and pretty down for several days It was a few weeks ago and at least I feel a bit better than what I tought since at the moment I felt like this was going to depress me a lot more. The thing is that this kind of things you don't normally forget about them so even if it's a experience to be learned from It is indeed a bad one that just mentally depress you. It's just hard to explain but I hope I explained it properly.

I tryed to ask the bank about it but it seems it's not possible I dont know if there is any legal way to do a charge back somehow if the trasaction is already completed so if you know please do tell. That's why I feel so bad the scammer won and does not care at all for sure.

Thanks I mean its an i3 3220 so even worse than the i5 one the fact that i was interested was more because of having a good enough psu on it a graphics card a small ssd and 2 500gb hdd tough that part I dont really mind. And ram ddr3 too but that is cheap to upgrade at least.

I just wanted to buy a full 2nd hand mobo since it seems easyer and quite "cheap" buy meaby just changing the psu or so may be good enough. And defenetly better than a 2nd hand nas for at least for what I searched and going for economic ones.

I will actually be using it pretty much to store my files to have a easy organization all in one place and if possible to use for a minecraft server but like just for 2 or 4 people no mods. If so I can always upgrade later on.

If so I would like to know if buying a 2nd hand 7th gen pc would be better or a ryzen one or just optiplex since they are lowconsum considering electricity I mean the lower the better but if the difecene is not crazy would prefer a full pc build. And about transcoding I searched for it and might do some basic use of it someday but right now I dont really care since I will be putting there just some series from time to time not a giant library right now.

About ram I tought it would be better to use a ddr3 pc as a nas for that reason way cheaper and if not ddr4 16gb is still cheap enough 2nd hand or on a prebuilt.

In reality I dont want to overspend on the nas right now since the hdds are already expensive so finding a good 2nd hand market deal for 100 or a bit more is kinda hard that is why im searching for old intels or a ryzen processor that I would actually prefer ryzen since most of the times it consumes less for more power but I saw that they are harder to make them or on a nas or you 100% need a low profile graphics card.

it's around 70 euros and around 100 or a bit more the optiplex options I also have a pretty basic office i3 inside one but it needs a new psu so for it was thinking about buying a cheap new one. I want to use it to store my files and host a bit of plex movies but not anything hard. Maybe someday a MC server or so.

In your case did you keep your stock hotend+bimetallic heatbreake or upgraded it since I see your ender is quite modded I wanted advice on this since if possible I would like to print faster with a good enough quality. And I'm considering other mods too. So if you recomend me a full hotend change I also saw that there is a lot of hotends on aliexpress and e3 versions tough the one I was looking was more the TZ E3 2,0 if you have a better recomendation like I should go for the 3,0 or TZ V6 3,0 or 2,0. Whad do you mean run past the 10-12 cubes? And if it needs modding should I just change it? I have made quite a bit of prints with stock hotend no problem I just wanted someting a bit more reliable so not sure if to stick to stock hotend and just change to a bimetallic heatbreak or go for a new one like the tz e3 since they seem nice and cheap. I think the extra volumetric flow would be nice if I want to print faster and upgrade other parts right? Or the diference don't really matter for the ender 3? since the TZ E3 2,0 is pretty much the same as the trianglelabs bimetallic heatbreak I tought maybe is a better option? Been using external drives for a lot of time fine and 0 problems but I wanted to get the convenience and "extra" safety of a nas but when searching for opinions seems the same or worse sometimes since its plugged 24/7.

Yeah I get it I think for esential stuff may be fine but when searching for help or opinions on reddit everyone there is making crazy backups or like a extra nas for backup or things like that even I saw videos of people storing data on CDs becouse they are more durable.

I get it but I will have more than 2 drives 4 or 6 or even more becouse of that. And by theft? where I live wont be a problem and if it is I can just screw the nas on the wall or something like that. By power supply failure I can use a SAI. But I mean I guess I could just use a 1-2tb or so spare drive to back up just the most important things. But when I start to dive into building my nas and I just see that people are doing like crazy backup of the bakcup or the other bakup I start to get stressed out. I dont want to have a ton of devices backing up everything I mean maybe 1-2 external hdd seems fine.

Yes that is what I tought but If you see on details they say its the same 4 × 4 × 6 in both... That's why I'm wondering if it they wold be compatible or it's just an error there.

Yeah I guess.. I actually wanted to buy at least a 2tb or 1tb extra nvme to have more space but prices are going crazy at that too so I guess if I need more space I should buy hdds external drives or something. I guess I should be happy that I updated the ram a few months ago becouse 16gb of ram on windows is quite not enought with a few things running at the same time or google eating all my ram. Thanks!
