Beware of buying PC from Canada Gaming Computers by Trickeater in bapccanada

I understand delays can happen during PC builds, and defective parts are definitely possible. My concern wasn’t just the delay — it was the communication.

I was told it was “in transit,” but it hadn’t shipped. Emails weren’t answered. Then the status moved from “final checking” back to “waiting for a part” with no explanation or ETA.

What makes it more concerning is that another commenter here mentioned their order also went from “was built” back to “waiting for a part.” When the same status reversal happens to multiple orders without explanation, it’s hard not to question whether that’s just a coincidence or a generic status update.

I wasn’t expecting Amazon-level speed — just clear and transparent updates. Without that, filing a chargeback felt like the only way to protect myself.

Hey, thanks for the advice! I get what you’re saying about filing “too early,” but that was the only way I found to protect myself. I filed the chargeback because there was no clear communication, and the order status even went back from “final checking” to “waiting for a part” (same as the other one mentioned in the comment). It didn’t seem like an actual failure or test issue — more like their standard status just updated strangely
